About 30 years ago these frosted cherry pop-tarts were amazing! There was frosting from edge to edge. Currently the picture on the box is completely false advertising! The frosting is not as pictured and sometimes there just a smudge in the middle, and I’m not talking about a clump just a small smear of frosting. I’m surprised I don’t see more complaints about the product. Maybe people think that’s how it’s supposed to be. Sadly the off brands have frosting edge to edge. Even the filling in the pop-tart brand is lacking. There’s barely any filling. Like I said 30 years ago they were absolutely AMAZING!!! It’s a shame when companies get too big, they forget how they got started, and take short cuts to keep pushing product out and forget about the quality of the product.

I haven’t had Pop-Tarts in years because I can never find the unfrosted varieties in stores, and as a vegetarian/vegan I don’t want the frosted ones, which contain gelatin. My husband was reminiscing about Pop-Tarts and I decided to check online. Amazon has them for an INSANE price, but luckily Walmart was way more reasonable. I know unfrosted flavors are in limited supply but I’m only willing to spend so much on junk food. I gave them to my husband as a Valentine’s gift lol. They are so delicious, they don’t even need the frosting! Brought me right back to childhood! Hopefully the other flavors will come back in stock!

At first, I was upset, because I believed that a change had been made to my order without authorization. It turned out that after I had taken a photo of the box, I discovered that it had a different image on the other side. I had not seen the front until I flipped it over to see if the ingredients were in fact OK. Now, I'm pleasantly surprised in every particular. My beef is now with the manufacturer for creating a false front. Bad company. Good Walmart.My order was brought to my car quickly and professionally. Thumbs up!
Don’t know why but this batch of pop tarts has rock hard frosting, unable to brake in half or cut. I usually eat them straight out but since these are not edible uncooked. i toasted them to soften them up, but after they were toasted the frosting was still to hard but the edges were crumbly. Toasted it a second time and only the corners ended up burned and the frosting outside was ok but the filling was very dry and tacky. Completely unable to eat. They even tasted old even though it doesn’t expire until october 2023. I’ve never seen/had a pop tarts that was this difficult to eat.
I've been eating these for breakfast almost every day for nearly 30 years and never got tired of them. Just the right balance of sweet, pastry, and cinnamon. I can't understand why they would discontinue these. Frosted Pop Tarts are too sweet and I'm not a fan of fruity flavors. There has to be plenty of other people who don't like to eat candy for breakfast and prefer the unfrosted cinnamon! I'll have to find something else to eat and it won't be Pop Tarts.

I received the order today the food item and it was wrapped in a flimsy USPS plastic envelope Marked as FRAGILE. The item was POP TARTS. To say the least the package was damaged to a degree. I opened the contents and felt each packages and in a funny way each package content was a broken mess. Well, I guess instead of dropping them in a toaster I can lay the food on a paper towel and microwave the food. Regardless of what I just said the food should have been shipped in a box with that good old bubble wrap and the item would have probably made it in better shape instead of a plastic shipping bag with a FRAGILE tag attached.

This was a flavor that I hadn’t tried only because I feared committing to a whole box, but I'm very glad I finally got around to it. The chocolate crust was a pleasant surprise, as was the off-grey color of the filling. The chocolate swirl design on top was cute, and the sprinkles were not as invasive as I thought they would be. I couldn’t really tell what this tasted like (nor did it have any flavor or temperature resemblance to its namesake??), but I loved it nonetheless. It was not overwhelmingly sweet, the flavors meshed well, and it is definitely worth the commitment of buying a full box.
