Porta's Square Edged Board is ideal for finishing off the edges of boards, shelving & benchtops. It can be used for strapping to cover the butted joints of sheet material such as plywood and cement sheet. Tasmanian Oak is a strong, stable, and easy-to-work hardwood. The wood's staining properties make it easy to match with other timbers, finishes, and furnishings. Tasmanian oak has a variety of colours, ranging from straw to a light reddish brown. Natural variations in grain, colour and texture are considered species characteristics and are not recognised as defects.
