I found this portable clothes line very difficult to erect. I had to give up trying to put 3 of the lines on as I just couldn’t make them fit into the screw holes, the lines appeared to be too short! I know this isn’t feasible and can only guess that my almost 80 year old brain couldn’t work out the problem. However I am using the lines I could erect, but find after every use the screws all need to be tightened or you may find a line falling to the ground washing and all, like I did.

This was very easy to put together and is very sturdy even though it is light enough to move around easily. I bought this because I kept running out of room on my clothes airer and I wish I had done so sooner. It's great. It can fit a load of towels and sheets, or two loads of washing.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it’s really good. It’s very sturdy and the lines very strong. It’s great when it rains and I hang up my clothes under the patio. Not too heavy and easily movable to where you want to put it. I’d highly recommend this clothes line.

All the reviews are true. This is an excellent product at an exceptional price. In fact, I might get another.
We bought this for use outside on our verandah. It’s a good design, with a decent width and line length. However, the ‘feet’ are only the same width as the crossbars at the top. This makes it quite unstable and prone to tipping when loaded with washing, especially if the wind catches about 20m width of sheets and towels - that’s a large surface area. Ours was lifted into the air and fell off the verandah over a 1m high handrail. It’s now rather bent, although it still, kind of, works. My advice: weigh down the feet, or anchor the wash line somehow, or only use it indoors or - cautiously - outdoors on calm days.
Bought this so I could use it in the backyard in the Winter sun.It's great - not super heavy and easy to move.Big enough for putting bed sheets over it.Very happy and would recommend it.Mitre 10's delivery service is great too.
I have been looking for something like this for ages. Nearly purchased some very expensive ones, but just couldn't justify those prices. So happy to have found this one. It does the job well! I wanted something for towels, sheets and my husband's heavy workwear. I either keep inside or move under the pergola. It's very lightweight and easy to move but holds so much more than my other standard airer. The other positive reviews convinced me to buy!
Just purchased for outdoor undercover area, not sure about it's quality. Instructions not clear. Absolutely needs two people to erect. System is built on tension of the lines. I've already had two pop out after it's been put up and I've only used it twice. Everything relies on the power of the plastic screws either end of the lines. I'm actually considering returning it to Mitre 10. It's going to annoy me untold if the lines keep popping and my clean clothes end up on the ground.
I purchased this portable clothesline as my old one had broken.I googled decent sized indoor clothesline and this was first to pop up.So glad I ordered it. The line is high enough to hang long pants and the contents of a 10kg washing machine.Absolutely recommended this product!
I bought this recently and when assembled, the lines wouldn’t stay in place. Rang supplier who said they’d order me a new one and test in store before shipping to me. Store person had the same issue and gave me a refund. Now I have a useless clothes rack in my house to dispose of. Do not recommend AT ALL. Can’t fault Mitre 10 though, they were great to deal with. It’s the item itself that is defective.
