Excellent paint! A gorgeous warming pink thats not too overwhelming but really delightful in the house. Goes onto the wall really smoothly and dries with a nice matte finish. Painted a couple of feature walls... might do some more!

If you want the same depth and uniformity as the sample carousel in the store then you need to really prepare the surface, be methodical and have patience.I was transitioning from off-white to this colour and thought that two coats was going to be enough. Wrong, I was seeing patches at some angles and honestly I was getting a bit frustrated by it. Did the third coat, waited a 2-3 days for the paint to cure and now I don't look back!I used a premium lambswool roller. If you buy this paint don't cheap it out by using a low quality roller.

I searched for almost 12 months, looking for THIS color I had in my mind.Had never considered Porter's Paints due to the cost factor but having exhausted all other brands, finally relented and took home a sample size of my PERFECT color.It looks and feels fabulous, easy cover (of my previous experimental colors) goes on thick and easily. Hang the expense. I'm off to Bunnings to get more of this one.
I painted my large 6 bedroom home Yacht Race by Porters Paints. I love this color, mind you I love the “ moody” Color’s. I’ve had no experience painting my house, I never even painted my nails so I was scared but I did ok. I don’t believe the eggshell Matt is washable tho.
Purchased the Porter's aquasatin enamel in Irish Linen for a kitchen cabinet makeover. Love the colour which is why I went with Porter's to get the authentic colour but as much as I really want to, I just do not love this paint. I am a novice painter and have found it quite hard to work with to get an even finish on furniture.As my project is not yet finished I cannot speak for how hard wearing the enamel is but so far the satin sheen level is nice. I'd say it's definitely closer to a low sheen than a semi gloss if you're keen on that kind of a finish over a traditional gloss or semi gloss.It almost has no smell too which has been great.Overall it's not something I'm going to take through the rest of the house but as a feature in the kitchen it's going to look ... Amazing paints! Goes on like a dream, no splatter, incredible coverage, stunning finish.And best of all, no smell! For someone who is allergic to pretty much every chemical and perfume scent/small, this is pure magic
This colour is absolutely gorgeous. I actually have a feature wall in another of the Porters Originals Paints (yes I know feature walls are out of date but this looks to good to not mention). I painted my husbands entire office with the colour 'Yhact Race' which is a deep blue colour, the room isn't very big but I accompanied that with bright white ceiling, skirtings and cupboards. The dark colour didn't make the room look small at all.
I bought a tin of this to paint some old furniture and it looks amazing. I am rubbish at painting but the results look incredible with this paint. It blends so easily so the finsh is perfect every time. This is now going to be my go-to brand for paint.
Don’t always believe the saying, “you get what you pay for”. I have disappointed before with more expensive products that just don’t perform, however with this paint it is truly worth the extra. Excellent coverage and very smooth to work with. Limited color pallet but what they do is worth the expense
