Portmeirion Botanic Garden Lasagne Dish 38x28cm

Having been left a little money from my dear neighbour who I looked after I treated myself to the Botanic Garden dinner service and tea service. I am so delighted with it I have now bought the lasagne dish and salad bowl. This is beautiful china and I am so thrilled to start collecting it. Wayfair have a really good price on all these items and I will continue to use their website which is easy to negotiate from basket to finished order. For me, this dish is

For me, this dish is great but is not deep enough for lasagne.We use it to roast vegetables or chicken joints very successfully.We did buy from you a lasagna dish several years ago. Square and deep enough for 3/4 layers of pasta.

Lasagne dish to share

I now have the entire Portmeirion set complete and this dish is my favourite. Deep enough for staple lasagne and looks great to serve from table!

Lovely piece, but size?

Lovely item but be aware the dimensions are not as described: it actually measures 14 1/4 " by 10 1/4". I was disappointed with the size because I wanted a larger size. However, I know I will make use of it, it was a good price and so I am keeping. In addition, it is made in China, not England, which many serving pieces are these days.

My favorite dish ware since 1972

Love portmerion botanical. Starting collection one piece at a time in 1985. I have never tired of the look and durability of this dinnerware . The coffee tankard is my very favorite cup for coffee . The feel of the warm cup, the size and sturdiness make it the only cup use. Macy’s has rescued me with this incredible sale !! Able to restock all my cups and pieces that have disappear!!

Portmerion

Lovely casserole dish, easy to use clean and bake with. Love Portmerion! The Portmerion Factory was originally in Stoke on Trent England. Many other china factories were located there such as Spode and Wedgewood. About twenty years ago an American corporation bought many of these china factories and moved production to China, Thailand etc. If you are ever in England it is worth going to visit these factories for a living history lesson!

Size doesn’t match the description

On the website & on the invoice Botanical Garden lasagna dish, Sweet Pea is 15 by 11 inches.It turned out to be 14 by 10.It is upsetting because I was buying it for specific purposes. Overall it is a beautiful dish but I don’t know how to trust the online description for the future purchases. Support team never responded to my request about this issue. That’s why I cannot give more than 3 stars.

Stunningly beautiful

I cannot believe I did not find these until right before Christmas. I think it is being discontinued. I cannot buy it fast enough! I adore the designs and it is so striking when serving alone or with company. I have already had many compliments on the designs. Love, love, love.

Very useful and attractive kitchen dish

This is a large, oven safe dish with a very attractive design so that you can display it when not being used for cooking. It is suitable for many jobs. I cooked a turkey and later a ham in the oven using this dish. Made in China, used to be made in England which I preferred but it seems every company is now making things in China [it is still a great dish ]. Recommended.
