My entire family is obsessed with these Portmeirion set, so we all have these plates, bowls, cups, etc. They are a bit heavy since they are great quality dinnerware, but I think they are not as heavy as some other ones I have tried. They are quite durable except for maybe the cups. I haven't really had problems with chipping except for with the cups. Other than that, these plates are beautiful and great! I love that they all have varying flower designs on them instead of the same pattern over and over.

Oh gosh! its awesome to see this dish on influenster! my mom just bought this set and i was able to eat off the plate and out of the bowl when i went home for thanksgiving and it is quite a beautiful dish. these dishes are made in china but also are made in england. my mom always likes to buy the one from england, but both products (whether it is made in china or england) are greatly made.

Beautiful plate maybe not quite as colourful as previous purchases but just as lovely .No one would realise they are seconds

Just want to say I'm really pleased with my plates. Everything went smoothly with my order. Love the patterns and shape....perfect.
I've been looking for several years for a medium size, shallow serving bowl and these fit the bill. Also great for eating stew, pasta or anything soupy. If you love flowers you'll appreciate all of the patterns to chose from.
This is a good second with hardly noticeable defect and size correct to match our original “ firsts” unlike other plates and bowls where metric/ imperial sizes are confusing and design eg rims have changed.
Love these but use them for porrige in winter and morning fruit salad in summer. The size is just right.
There is a glitch with this pasta bowl - the images don't match the descriptions. I've contacted DJ about it but its still not resolved.
