Portmeirion Botanic Garden - Pasta Bowl - 22cm Iris

My entire family is obsessed with these Portmeirion set, so we all have these plates, bowls, cups, etc. They are a bit heavy since they are great quality dinnerware, but I think they are not as heavy as some other ones I have tried. They are quite durable except for maybe the cups. I haven't really had problems with chipping except for with the cups. Other than that, these plates are beautiful and great! I love that they all have varying flower designs on them instead of the same pattern over and over.

Oh gosh! its awesome to see this dish on influenster! my mom just bought this set and i was able to eat off the plate and out of the bowl when i went home for thanksgiving and it is quite a beautiful dish. these dishes are made in china but also are made in england. my mom always likes to buy the one from england, but both products (whether it is made in china or england) are greatly made.

Delighted with my purchases

Bought seconds - proper bargains! Excellent quality and hard to spot why they're seconds. Really happy with my plates and bowls bought to replace breakages etc. I like to mix the designs - they all work beautifully together - so love the idea of not knowing what you might get 🙂

Different shape

I am very pleased with the replacement plates. However the shape has changed so they do not match the originals. A little disappointed in that respect.

Very pleased with my purchase and its quality. Years ago I purchased a bowl with beautiful strawberry design that finally gave up the ghost, so I needed a replacement.

Second or Not

The bowls arrived, well packed and were beautiful. The only problem being, I am not convinced they are not seconds, but that could be me. On the base there were a few bubble holes which, I wasn't sure, if it is a fault or normal. I didn't send them back or complain as it isn't worth the aggro.

Value with small risk

This is a good second with hardly noticeable defect and size correct to match our original “ firsts” unlike other plates and bowls where metric/ imperial sizes are confusing and design eg rims have changed.

Well packed

Bought two more Portmeirion Botanic Garden 8 inch Pasta Bowl Garden Lilac to make my collection to 4. Now I can use my dishwasher less and save energy. The Box was slightly damaged but this had not been able to damage the contents - well done. The Box was all recyclable.
