You get what you pay for here. You need a quick decent controller for cheap? You're in the right place. You need a quality controller that will last for a while? Not this one. Mine lasted longer than some of these other reviews, but still bugged out before 2 months in. Left stick had serious input stutter and the right stick started acting up as well. No drops or spills, just cheaply made guts to blame here. I even opened it up and cleaned it with alcohol and blew it out with electronics duster......nothing changed. I understand its cheaper for a reason, but it seems this is just a straight rip off if I've got N64 controllers laying around still outperforming this new junk.

The 3 wired Power A controllers are my daily driver since about a year now. I use them on my Xbox Series X and One and also on my Android Retro Game Emulator Box. Had no issues or wear out whatsoever. I love the small back buttons much better than big pedals like on other "pro" controllers. They are perfect to get used to the additional control option.I barely use the original controllers anymore.

I bought this controller off of Amazon because it looked visually appealing to me. Having 2 additional and freely customizable buttons was a big bonus which lead to a 3 stars rating.Big downside whatsoever is the durability of its Buttons. After only 1 and a half months of playing 1-2h every evening the RB Button broke internally because a button press couldnt trigger the function anymore.I'm really disappointed about this as I only got the controller last months. Its clear that after extensive use of the buttons they will break eventually but imho they shouldn't after a short time like this.I cannot recommend this controller to a friend at this Point. If the buttons were more durable this would be a solid Controller for the requested money.

These controllers are cheap and terrible. I just ordered one and it worked fine at first not even 24 hrs after having it and every time i move my left stick true north (in the most vertical position it can go) and click the stick it forces me to aim. In any competative multiplayer game this id a major issue, sure i have paddles and can do stuff without moving my right thumb off the aiming analog but doesn’t mean anything if it’s forcing me to aim when i don’t want to and i can’t actually fight anyone to my full potential. Great for kids maybe because they wouldn’t know there was an issue hahahah
I bought the controller and it took about 2 and a half weeks to get to me! Upon getting it there was already some minor stick drift immediately after turning the controller on. Then started having random problems where the left would act as if it was held down when the trigger wasn't pushed in at all. After 2 drops from heights of less than 2 feet the controller is now unusable. The right still has such awful stick drift you literally can't fight it, the trigger constantly has the issues where it acts as though it's pushed in and there was a large crack that was found on the bottom next to the headphone jack. This controller is the most fragile piece of technology I have ever seen
I have many types of Xbox controllers. I have been happy with all of my PowerA Enhanced controllers. But, none of the stores near me had any of the Enhanced in stock. So, I ventured out and bought the less expensive entry level PowerA controller's (2 of them). The first controller Left and Right Stick buttons began to malfunction only after about 4 hours of play time. They became erratic and wouldn't even let me select menu items. So, I plugged in the second one. This one worked better, but after about 2 days, the Left Stick Button began to drift and that makes it difficult to drive in Forza Horizon games. For a 3 - 5 dollar savings, DON'T get these. For a 3 - 5 dollar savings, DON'T get these. Even the Left and Right Trigger buttons were made from thinner plastic so that when you would squeeze them to capacity, you could feel them bending. Not a good product from PowerA. One other thing, even the motors for the vibration were less effective. Overall - I rate these - STAY AWAY.
I think that the mappable back buttons are great, they definitely helped me in certain games. The wired connectivity is a plus because you will never have to buy new batteries or recharge the remote. The design is very clean. HOWEVER, I encountered a significant issue that seems to be somewhat common with these controllers based on other reviews online. After only a month of LIGHT gaming, the left analog stick began drifting. This analog stick drift has greatly hindered my ability to play games. For example, when playing Forza Horizon 4, there are instances when I can’t even turn the car. I suppose it’s possible you may not experience this issue, but I would recommend that you invest some more money and buy a higher quality controller.
The controller itself works fine for the most part, except the left stick is a bit wonky, and is not very responsive when pointed directly up, leading to most of my characters in my games doing an odd limp. The description of the item talked about minor usage marks, but nothing about the stick's main problem, which is slightly disappointing.
These controllers used to be a great cheap alternative for a programmable button controllers. The past four I've bought from Target all had the left programmable button fall into the controller. The pressure resistant plastic just breaks and the whole button breaks. One controller lasts maybe a month now. Would of been better off buying an expensive controller in the long run, especially with the evening runs to Target after it breaks every month.
