They showed up 8 days early and on my birthday! What a great birthday surprise. They work great and are easy to use. They are built well. My only complaint is the expansions are kinda hard to find at the moment but I think thats just because of COVID and they will be easier to find in the future.

Works well as a set of weights for a small apartment. There are very few competitors, but the design could use some work. I'm scared to do chest presses with these things: the mechanism to swap weights doesn't seem totally safe. But still, it's likely the best option unless you want to buy a bunch of separate weights.

I was looking at these dumbells for a few weeks. I then had them purchased as a gift. I've been lifting weights for roughly 20 years now. Anyone who is a gym rat understands that with a nice adjustable bench you can do just about any movement with dumbells. They replace 9 sets of dumbells and feel just as good as standard hexadecimal head dumbells.I use them every day in my routine. My only knock would be this set is not expandable, the sport exp is. I thought I could purchase the add on kit to go from 50 to 70 then 70 to 90 pounds. This is an older set that doesn't allow expansion so I have to buy the heavier set now. Just for the simple reason 50 pounds isn't enough weight for me on most exercises. I do love the set up though just not enough weight.

I was skeptical at first about buying this set. I had never used any form of power blocks before but I am truly please by the results I am achieving plus the convenience and space I am saving. These weights feel extremely comfortable in my hands and the overall grip is excellent. Adjusting the weight is simple and easy to do. I wanted to get dumbbells however it would have costed me way more plus the fact that these are easy to store and take up little space makes this a must have for anyone looking to get in shape or put on muscle. Great product!
Picked these for several reasons. When doing overhead tricep extensions, you can flip the unit over (upside down) and grab the two bars that were just on the bottom, one in each hand, and it feels very natural and controlled. With the Bowflex units I bought my son years ago, tricep extensions are more awkward. And although our Bowflex units haven't broken yet, when I went to the Dick's store, both of the Bowflex display units were broken so you couldn't adjust the weight, which didn't give me confidence. These Sport 50's were also attractive, without the gaudy colors that other Powerblock units have. And my son immediately noticed how compact they are, which helps during a lot of different exercises.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY PowerBlock Dumbell weight set!!!!...the balance, grip and feel of these are great. I love the ease of use and how quickly you can change from weight to weight with just sliding out and in of the selector pin. The only drawback is that these are not expandable. .didn't know that until after I purchased them.
Girlfriend just picked these up for me as a early birthday gift. If you're looking for something that takes up minimal space, but still adequately gets the job done, definitely recommend. A bit pricey, but they are probably the more durable choice for adjustable dumbbells on the market currently. Have a hard time giving anything a definitive 5/5, so I will settle on a solid 4/5.
remember you cant slam adjustable weights! things will break. also for those that say its too hard and takes longer to change weight with these than to workout, you need to be doin more than one rep! ive done drop sets with these on the floor and was still able to hit failure. i picked these over the bowflex and the other one dicks had because of the smaller profiles of the weight stacks.
