Best For Home Gym
I watched tons of review vids on YouTube before making my purchase. Ultimlately, I was torn between a couple of brands and chose this one for its 1) ease of changing weights, 2) ability to expand up to 90lbs, and 3) unique design for comfort on multiple exercises.Let me tell you. I LOVE these. From bench to overhead presses, bicep curls, lat raises, deadlifting and more - these really are excellent. They don't feel cheap, they look nice, and they are comfortable on your hand.Highly recommended. Price and shipping (cost+time) from Fitness Giant were better than every other online retailer as well! Great Customer service too.... Show more

Careless package resold as new.
My package arrived with the box torn. It appeared that the dumbell was a returned item as it was loose in the box with the plastic bag it was supposed to be in at the bottom of the box. Loose pieces of the adjustable dumbell were clanging around. Very unhappy for having spent $180. Nothing like Amazon.... Show more

Good, compact, and indispensable
I purchased my set on the same day that my gym closed at the beginning of the pandemic. My timing could not have been better, as my set was the last one to go out before they shut down production in Minnesota.I chose these over Bowflex because of it's compact dimensions. Since it has a nested design, a 50 lb Powerblock is much shorter than a Bow flex which has a fixed length handle that is the same length regardless of the weight you have on it. This comes into play with overhead shoulder presses and bench presses where you want to get your hands closer together. While the weight adjustment system is not as quick or easy as the Bowflex, it's really a minor inconvenience and you get used to it very quickly. While it is theoretically cool that you can find adjust in 2.5 lbs increments, you will find yourself not doing it very much at all because pulling out the main handle assembly and removing and replacing the 2 silver cylinders and then putting them back in it's just not worth the time and effort. The way to themselves work really well. You will have to get used to 2 things:1. There is a sound of metal on metal since they're not one piece, solid dumbbells. Even though they are strong and durable, you still have to be more careful with them, and you certainly don't want to drop them If at all possible.2 The closed handle design is a bit restrictive. There are certain exercises that are more difficult to do, like overhead tricep extensions. Also, performing certain exercises with single dumbells are challenging.Overall, it is a marvelous piece of equipment, and all I have in my home gym are the power blocks, an adjustable weight bench, and a pull up bar, and I can do 95% of what I can do in the gym.Highly recommended!... Good price and free shiping!
I was surprised to see that my weights got here in one piece considering their weight. I am also kinda shocked that shipping was free.Powerblocks are just what they are. Exactly what I ordered. I kinda hate the little plastic selector thing. Other than that, love them. Solid piece of workout equipment. Im sure Bowflex is easier and less oddly shaped, but the price is crazy,... Show more

great value for a small space
Bought for my home gym so I can progressive overload and lift more. According to my scale they weigh 1lb more then they should. They also feel heavier then my KB when set to the same weight. They are little big and unbalanced so to do the lifts it requires more stabilizing so its more work then regular dumbbells. They are easy to adjust and seem sturdy. I wish there was a way to see if the 2.5# in the handle without removing it.... Show more

Many dumbbells in one.
How could anyone not have Powerblocks? They are a great investment. From squat exercises to deadlifts to shoulder presses to tricep curls (and more), these dumbbells can be used to workout almost every body part. Space-savers. Have your 10 year old kids use them, too. Do you want 20 dumbbells or just two? You can't go wrong with Powerblocks.... Show more

Not user friendly
I’m a big fan of the Powerblocks, I’ve been using the sport 24 powerblock for years now and love them. That being said, I bought these weight because I liked how you could adjust the weight in 2.5 lb increments but this is a little misleading. There are small weights (2.5 lb weights) stored in the inner block that must be removed if you want to adjust the weight in 2.5 lbs. increments. This is not very user friendly and they had to be returned. If you are looking for a cheap weight that adjust between 10-50 lbs in 10 lb increments this would be a good purchase.... Show more

Powerblock Elite is great!
Love these. I had the Sportblock 24, which was great during my rehab for a shoulder replacement, and I wanted more expandability. This set is perfect. There are a couple of gaps that are tougher, but overall this one s exactly what I wanted as I progress. Best on the market!!... Show more

Solid Dumbells
I have been using these for about a month now. I like how they adjust really quickly and easily. They also are expandable up to 90 per dumbbell. Although they do not replace the feel of a dumbbell it does give you a lot of flexibility in a compact design. I am happy I got them!... Show more

This works better than expected!
Great for my home gym since I don't have a lot of room. I think I like this setup better than 1" weight set I was using for dumbbells because the width of the weights are no bigger than what it's setup for. With the plates slapped on a bar, working around the bar in some exercises was an annoyance. I'm still happy with graduating away from the 1" set, because the plates slipped off once and I've never really trusted the collars since. This setup is much more solid once weight is set. For 10lb increments, adjustments are a breeze, but for smaller increments. IMHO is a bit more tedious, but not difficult. It just requires an extra step of pulling the handle out and dropping the pin weights out. Only downside, it's on the fence of what I need in dumbbells, so it works ...
