This card is a beast. I love it so much now that I got it tuned up. Took awhile for me to switch from Nvidia drivers to AMDs using DDU. Had issues with a little bit of coil whine too, but since this is my first multi-8 pin connector card, I learned to switch the daisy chain connector for 2 separate 8pins and the issue went right away. Love AMDs software too, you can change settings per game or globally on the fly.Should out to Aaron P. at the Duluth store for hooking me up with this and a new monitor. Made my experience quick and easy.

I purchased this card a month ago and its a beast. I haven't had any major issues with this card so far. Runs cool with my 750 watt psu and Ryzen 7600 .140 +fps at 1440 p at almost everything I throw at it. The biggest con is that there is coil wine, This is to be expected on all these high end cards at this point.

Bought open box and has been able to run everything at the highest settings (D4, Outlast Trials etc.). It's completely silent unless I'm in a game but even fully cranked the fans aren't loud/annoying. Started with a lot of coil whine but that's gone away after a few weeks.
Long time Nvidia customer and was turned onto this by some of the staff and boy am I'm glad they said something. Unreal beast of a card. Best part is the built in RGB match my Deebop themed build. Cowabunga dudes!!!!!
Card is great powerful for all recent AAA games, will need to be paired with a decent processor but fine as initial upgrade.Ran WoW full settings and didn’t even turn on fans for an hour kept so cold by a decent heat sync and case airflow.Purple glow is nice if you don’t want blue.Despite other reviews on top settings on more trying games I haven’t had coil whine. Again reduce this chance with a decent PSU.All round a great card.
I just upgraded to this card from 1660ti it’sa huge jump, but now I can finally play on my 48” tv with normal fps. This card is great for 1440p for 4k gaming you will need better card
I purchased this for $700 as an open box deal that I used for a new build. I was going to go with a less power hungry GPU, but I also picked up the Montech Sky Two case, which has a dedicated GPU fan that blows fresh air straight at the thing, so I figured it'd be nice to see if that GPU fan is good or just for show. Turns out, it actually works.Some observations about the card:Pros1. Wicked fast. Played all my typical games at FPS significant higher than my outgoing 1060 6GB card.2. Passed a 60 minute Furmark burn-in test with no crashes or OpenCL errors, so it's stable.3. Temps reached a max of 71C (hotspot 95C) at 100% load with the fans at 45% speed. Impressive.4. RDNA 3, 20GB VRAM, etc make it a spec giant, even if it doesn't have as many features as an Nvidia, it's still very good.6. The toggle to swap it from OC to silent is a nice touch. For those who are curious, OC will run the card at about 10% higher than rated wattage (330ish) to eek out a little extra performance. Those who don't care can put toggle the switch on silent, which more or less limits it to its base clock and wattage (300W).Cons1. $900 is a bit pricy for a brand new card. I wouldn't have bought this if it weren't open boxed for $700.2. I do experience coil whine on this card. Coil whine isn't bad for electronics (everything that has power running through it has coil whine, but case/CPU fans usually drown it out on lower wattage cards), but even so, I do wish it were a little quieter.3. No RGB on a card this expensive is funny to me. Does it bother me? Not really, but it was one of those "lol, okay PowerColor, whatever you say" kind of moments.I went around in circles at Micro Center for 2 hours (including 15m after closing time) going between the 6950XT, the Nvidia 4070 (non TI), and this card. I'm still not 100% certain I made the right decision (Nvidia has lower wattage, more productivity-oriented features, and some extra gaming features as well), but at $200 off MSRP, at least I felt like I got a good deal. This is a top 5 card in terms of benchmarks (averaged out, you can obviously find examples of weaknesses and strengths if you cherry pick your benchmarks hard enough), but I will miss some of the productivity stuff and the cooler temps from the 4070.In any case, I haven't finished updating my whole setup yet, so this monster is running a 1080p ultrawide with a 75hz refresh rate, so clearly I am not using this card to its full potential yet. However, I wanted to make sure I got something with solid silicon before I committed to upgrading to a setup in case I had to go with a different card that may or may not be able to handle whatever I get.Anyway, 4 stars for the excellent performance, good thermals (lots of higher tier cards have been having overheating issues), and passing stress tests without drama. Minus 1 star for the coil whine. It's a keeper.
Bought this card for a mini its build its bigger than reference card but still fits in the case. The increased size 31cm allows the card to run cool. The hotspot has not gone over 72 degrees for me and the gpu sits at 64 degrees in most of my games. Im very happy with this card

I though that I recieved a defective unit, so I exchanged it for another Hellhound 7900 XT. When I put the new one in my system, it still made the same over the top coil whine. This made me think that my PSU (new MSI 850 watt) could've been defective, so I exchanged it for a Seasonic 850 watt power supply. After hooking everything back up to the new PSU, the 7900 XT still made the noise. I ended up purchasing a Gigabyte Eagle 4070 ti instead and it has had no issues with coil whine (very minor when underload).
