2020 has been a tough year for me. I had knee surgery on both knees 40 days apart. Rehab has been difficult because each knee can only support so much weight during the daily grind. My pain management was horrible because my body can't stand pain killers. After some research, I came across PowerDot and was hopeful to get my pain under control. After 3 weeks of using the Duo 2.0, I can finally sleep and more importantly walk without the need for crutches. I can't wait for Phase 2 of rehab (cleared by doctor) where I am able to start rebuilding the strength and muscle in both legs. I think the Duo 2.0 will get me to a whole new level. I sincerely believe that could be any day. I honestly don't know where I would be if it wasn't for the folks at PowerDot. I can't thank ... More2020 has been a tough year for me. I bought the power dot duo as a gift for my Fiance and selfishly so I could use one too. He's pretty stubborn about his recovery and would rather complain and force his muscles into submission. He does use a massage gun he purchased but the fact you can just apply and go with the Power Dot Duo makes it even more enticing to use. The app is pretty straight forward and the pad application is easy as well, which is why I think he's drawn to using it frequently. After convincing him that the point isn't to blast your muscles to the point of toe curling, he seems to have relief in the areas he's using it. Personally, I use it for my achy knee after 2 meniscal repairs and a hip that screams after a run. Both feel much better after use! It's early days but...Bluetooth connectivity works really well with my iPhone and the Powerdot app.Pad placement is key. Being able to independently control the two pods as some pads seem to pass stronger stimulation than others.There are connecting cables for the pod's & conductive pads but controlling them is via your smartphone & is truly wireless.

This product has constant connectivity issue with the iOS app. It connects initially but during the session it disconnects and not able to adjust it. Until you do a 'reset' it constantly fails to connect and this has happened multiple times so I am going to have to return the product. The concept and the look is great but unfortunately it has major connectivity issue.
I purchased this after getting a lumbar strain & sore lower back and was really skeptical if it would actually help me and boy did it do its job. I am able to stick the dot wherever I have deep muscle pain and it slowly shocks away the tightness. I had alot of tightness in my hips and after repeatedly using the dot I regained most of my range of motion there. Didn't expect this to work as well as it has, everyone with deep pain and tightness that feels like its making your bones sore needs one of these.
They do exactly what they say. The App is good and allows lots of different programs for recovery, strength, massage and TENS.I primarily bought this for a problem with my leg and knee which was causing severe pain. This definately helpled and made a long haul flight to America more bearable as well.I'm using them probably every other day on average and I'm already noticing a major different in muscle tone and strengh on my quads and knee area.I've used them on my shoulders and chest as well successfully.The pads last AGES as well. I've probably used the first pair I got with the system more than 40 times and they're still fine. Way more than the 20 or so times it says to use them for.Definately recommend and already have.
It worked really well. However started having connection issues less than a month after purchasing with one of the dots. I read about it online and thought it was user error, Bluetooth turned off, flat etc… but they just disconnect and don’t pair. Also unlike other TENS machines the pads are unique which means you can use 3rd party of different shaped ones. Will be returning it and investing is a sports specific brand
Constantly having one of two units losing connection. I have returned the original "bad" one; the replacement also has the same issue. This is a total software issue with Bluetooth; it can only recognize the "master" one and not run both simultaneously. I have wasted time chatting and demanding a phone call, and nope, nothing. The chat desk sent ANOTHER replacement after I told them not to and that the same issue would happen again. This is ridiculous for a product that costs this much from a brand such as Therabody. I would never recommend these, and obviously, Therabody should be embarrassed for the workmanship of the product and the supporting software and, more importantly, the lack of quality service. There are many reviews of this same problem, so BUYER BEWARE!
I’m intrigued, but am not convinced it’s going to last - I used both pods for one session, then the next day one of the pods wouldn’t connect. Troubleshooting was fruitless, it’s bricked. I sent The Feed a note asking for help, got a reply 4 days later saying “take it up with Therabody” (aka - “it’s your problem”).A bit disappointed with The Feed for not stepping up to help directly. I guess this isn’t their core business, but it’s pretty lame to sell something that breaks after one use and not help fix the problem. Now I guess I’ll see how long the warranty process with Therabody takes…
As an avid marathoner, visits to a sports medicine dr were expected and with any soft tissue injuries led to down time with massages and electro stim. This is one of the best units in the market. With certain strains from HIIT and over extensions during barre, this expedites any small issue quickly. I never had an issue with connectivity (Apple 14pro).
