Prada Candy Kiss - 80ml Eau De Parfum Spray

This is such a unique scent. It is very subtle. It was not what I would have expected from a perfume called “candy”. It was a lot less decadent and a lot less obnoxiously sweet than most candy-themed perfumes. It smelled like a subdued version of cotton candy but with notes of musk that dulls the cotton candy / marshmallow smell. This scent is a mature, tempered version, it is not the cheapy discount store overwhelming fake cotton candy / marshmallow smell, but a more “real” scent that you just want to keep smelling. If you know the John Frieda curl conditioner smell then it’s a lot like this but with a layer of musk. I absolutely love this scent and am so happy they brought it back. This version is way stronger than the last bottle I owned from a year or two ago. This scent is NOTHING like ORIANA, ORIANA is a marshmallow sweet orange blossom that smells similar to killian love don’t be shy (just bc they both list orange blossom doesn’t mean they’re similar lol) this smells very much like the Moroccanoil hair products, if you love that scent you will absolutely adore this one. It’s sensual and calm, not sweet, it has that sexy fuzziness that the Moroccanoil hair products have. It’s so good. It’s one of my favorite perfumes in my collection and one of my most complimented perfumes. I’m so glad it’s back and I already stocked up.

Let it be known that I am a chief hater of all floral scents. Most so-called "florals" do not smell like a flower at all to me- more like violent, sharp, and pungent imitations of a flower. This is exactly what I want in anything with floral notes. It's a beautiful soft scent, like sniffing a blossom in spring. Not at all like a cheap body spray or old grandma perfume. It's sweet and fruity without being overwhelming or tacky. Doesn't project all that much, but I hate it when everyone in the room can smell me so it's perfect in my opinion. I must say this scent is amazing!!! I am a new fragrance girlie and I happened to come across Prada Candy while searching for something else in Sephora. This fragrance is very sweet and soft. It is not over powering. It paired really well with a vanilla scent body oil I have. I wore the fragrance for 12 hours without having to reapply. This is a great scent to have in your collection.

This perfume has lots of sweet musk and a touch of orange blossom. I personally think this perfume is one of the most “lovely and sweet” scents...if you like or love sweet musky perfumes, this will likely be a hit with you. I prefer using this perfume in spring and summer cuz it’s elegant, light n sweet and last a long time. You will get numerous compliments when you wear it. Highly recommend getting a large bottle because you will use it everyday.

Prada Candy Kiss is my least favorite in my Candy / L'eau / Kiss trinity. The original musk is blended with delicate white cotton, vanilla, powdery musk, and orange blossom. It's just not "gourmand" enough for my personal tastes. I don't feel it lasts as long as the others, but honestly a little is enough for me and then I'm done.

Beautiful Scent

This scent is delicious. It smells like sweet tarts. It's more fruity before I put it on but after, more musky. I didn't think I'd like it this much so I bought a small bottle. When I run out, I'll buy a bigger one. Packaging was secure, item intact. BUT I had no idea it was my perfume coming based on the packaging.

Nice Smell but Only Lasts 2 Hours!

I think it's so interesting all the people who write what their usual fragrance favorites are. Because I do not like any of the fragrances that have been named by the other shoppers, but I do like this one very much. It does not have a talc smell, in my opinion. I like a talc smell in the right fragrance, however in this I just don't think it smells like talc at all. It's a vanilla floral that is lighter than usual yet it smells very good and the one reviewer was so right - you can absolutely wear this to the office and it should not be found as offensive by anybody. It eau de parfum but it dissipates like a much less expensive type fragrance . No cheap notes - A quality smell, but goes away way too fast. However, after saying all that, a nice thing about Prada Candy Kiss is that it does not change with my body chemistry even after 5 hours it still smells decent even though it's really completely gone. I drove 40 minutes to my closest Macy's today just to get this fragrance after smelling it in Vanity Fair. When I got to the store I was told that the store does not carry any Prada whatsoever except for the regular Prada Candy rollerball. I really would like to say that it is so wrong that Macy's limits the types of fragrances it sells in large metropolitan areas. They are cutting off their own sales by doing this because I went to another store to purchase it. Here it is, the holiday season, and they have tons and tons of space available on point-of-purchase holiday displays and even on the sales counters yet no Prada. And they don't carry a lot of other fragrances at my store either. If you live near a Macy's that doesn't edit what you're allowed to purchase be very thankful I guess. I will purchase another bottle from another department store so I have two. And that's why my user name was chosen!

prada candy kiss is my favorite perfume. every year hubby gets a big bottle for me. this is not anything like the smell of my other bottles. it doesn't smell bad just not at all like my other bottles . different scent entirely and very watery does not last like mine. he paid 120 for my last bottle .. i should have known the deal was too good.
