I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. As she totally loves the sport, but far from a "wizard on the links" I was hoping this club could help her game in getting more
distance and control off the tee. Her first try, because of our WI winters was at a local indoor golf video facility. After a simple adjustment from the resident "pro on staff", she
was making shots she only only dreamed of making before. An awesome club, she was "brimming from ear to ear" when she got home and was trying to see if there was
enough room for a driving range for her in our basement. This club has unleashed a winter laden desire. Thanks so much!

more. I have the 3 wood for the fairway and its so much easier to hit. As well as getting 10+ yards for well struck. It's taken some time for me to slow my swing down which
happens at the end of the season but now I am getting great rewards. I also went with Stiff Shaft and love the weight of the club which makes the balls spring toward the
target a lot straighter. I highly recommend this club. The only knock I give it is the shiny black gets smudged. I haven't' chipped the club yet but imagine bad hits ... Show more

Feels great
2 February 2022
Received it last Friday and yesterday played for the first time. I had a chance to hit two tee shots, one with Stealth (10.5 adjusted to 9.75, Ventus Red 5R) and the other - with SIM Max (10.5 adjusted to 9.75, Ventus Blue 6R). I did not notice any meaningful difference between the two in terms of distance or dispersion. Both were sending a ball about 230+/-10 yards total on a wet course on a 40F degree day. I flipped the shafts on the back nine, but did not notice any difference either. I also used Garmin G80 radar launch monitor, which showed a very small increase in Stealth club head speed of 3-4 mph with a stock shaft over SIM. However, should add that SIM has over 400 rounds under its belt, while Stealth is brand new. Where Stealth really beats SIM Max is in how the shots feel, it's like a hot knife going through the butter. Overall, if SIM Max is in a good condition, upgrade probably is not worth the money.... Gerat Off The Tee, but...
15 September 2023
I was heading to Whistling Straits and needed and upgrade, so I replaced my trusty Ping i25 3 wood with a Stealth, based on a recommendation from a friend. Off the tee, the Stealth was great, but I struggled to hit quality shots off the deck. I though it was me until I made a trip to Golf Galaxy today and tested the Ping G430 and the Callaway Paradigm. Hands down, the Ping and Callaway were much easier to hit. Their profiles are much shallower than the Stealth, which makes the perfect fairway wood for me. My Stealth 3 Wood will soon be available on Ebay at a very reasonable price.... Show more

Great Performance, Poor Durability
23 December 2022
Bought the Stealth Plus driver mid-February 2022. Took me about three weeks to get it dialed in and use to it. Definitely increased distance on solid hits by 10% when combined with a low spin ball. However, after ten months, the driver face is now splintering ... about an inch long and half inch high about one "line" above the base of the club face. Admittedly, I like to hit a lot of practice balls (two to three times per week), but the club has not been abused in any way.Hopefully the authorized dealer I purchased the club from will replace it. If not, I am out over six bills (including CA taxes) for a driver that lasted about ten months. At this point, certainly cannot recommend someone purchase this club!... Show more

I was very concerned about spending all that money and then being let down with the performance. My old driver was a TaylorMade 09 Bruner and I knew being 13 years old there had to be something out there with newer technologies. With my old driver I would get into a slicing funk occasionally . With 8-9 rounds with my Stealth HD Driver I have not sliced one shot, although I did push one. When I slow down my swing and good tempo all my shots are down the middle. If I over swing I do pull the ball. I will admit the pulls are long, in the middle of the lake instead of just barely in the lake. By slowing down this driver it is not quit as long as the old driver but I'm not in trouble and running up my score. I've already dropped 2 stokes off my handicap.I would ... MoreI was very concerned about spending all that money and then being let down with the performance. If he can help this old dog [75 yrs] he can probably help you. Now I'm wondering about saving up for a couple of fairway woods. I wonder if my wife would understand, probably not.... Show more

Should have bought a 9 wood years ago
3 April 2024
I struggled using hybrids ever since I bought my first “good” set of irons 20 years ago that had lower loft hybrids included. My previous set also had hybrids included. Last year I purchased a new set of irons but continued to use the last set’s hybrids. I just could not hit them at all. I spoke to my instructor at Golf Galaxy about adding higher loft fairway woods to my set (driver, 3 & 5 woods). I first added a 7 wood, which worked great for me, but still struggled with the 5 hybrid. Last month, I bit the bullet and purchased a Stealth 2 9 wood. At my next lesson, the first hit with the 9 had a carry of 161 yards. Needless to say, I removed my hybrids from my bag. I’m a believer!!!... Show more

Wonderful addition to the bag
24 April 2024
All I can say is WOW!!! I bought the last Stealth 2 9 fairway in the Denver, CO area about 3 weeks ago. I was completely shocked at how well I hit the club on the range and on the simulator course. To be honest, I bought the 9 wood (I previously purchased the 3, 5 and7 woods) due to the fact that I just could not hit my 5 hybrid. The 9 wood solved that problem. Thank you TaylorMade for your great products.... Show more

Worth the money
22 July 2024
I what to upgrade by starter kit 5 wood. I wanted something that was good off the fairway and the tee. I picked the Stealth 2 5 wood with a stiff shaft . I like the balance of this club and ball flight is nice and high . I have even used this club to hit out of some fairway bunkers with enough distance to save my Par's I am still working on getting the distance I want off the tee but this is result of me not putting in enough time at the practice range . I have played about 5 round with it so far and I am very pleased with it l'a performance.... Show more
