I decided to put a few of them into a gel flask with a tiny amount of water and that was an amazing hack.

PF 100 gels are amazing. Great and different texture make them easy to take down. They actually taste great. I took these on a moderate 22 miler in prep for a marathon and they worked better than any other gel or product I’ve used before. I had low expectations but they blew Gu, Skratch, and my fav Fig Newtons out of the water. Highly recommend. The energy is immediate and sustained with out being too sweet.

I first learned about Precision from Megan and David Roche. They talked about the slurpability of the product, and they were right! Easy to get through the whole packet while on the move without stomach issues. There is enough of a plain flavor that its not unflavored but is also not something I would get sick of while doing long training runs. Overall this product feels similar to Maurten gels but better in my opinion.

Good: the size is nice for 30g carb, the packet top stays attached when you rip it so less litter, the consistency is similar to Maurten which I like.Bad: I could not handle the flavor. It’s unflavored but slightly medicinal? I could barely choke it down. Also, the packet opening is really small to squeeze the gel out.

Only problem I had was with the tiny ******* that the gel is dispensed from, after ripping off the top. Ever opened a tube of super glue and tried to squeeze it all out the tiny nozzle in one go? Not gonna happen. The Precision gels take at least 4 or 5 attempts to fumble around and squeeze it all out, instead of 1 or 2 attempts (like with a Huma gel). If you're standing still - no big deal. But if your point is to keep running a certain pace without slowing down to suck down a gel - it's kinda frustrating, and takes a lot of effort to get all the product out. Full transparency, I'm new to the fueling game. Ran several marathons but usually just grab whatever gels are near me. This training season I've made a concerted effort to purchase gels and have GU's and these. I've gotta say I prefer these over GU's because the taste is good (like watery peanut butter) and they are more liquid so there's less need for water with them. I would still recommend hydrating with water too but if your access to water is more limited these are fine on their own. For the price and quality I recommend them.
I loved the Precision Hydration electrolyte drink packets; so, I gave the gels a try. The taste is neutral and palatable even long into a ride. They sit well with my stomach even as I push higher carbohydrate loads during . The litter leash is a nice feature for the tear off top compared to other gel products on the market. I would buy again!
THESE. ARE. SO. GOOD! Lots to appreciate here. Amazing taste (on the sweeter side, but not sickeningly sweet), go down so easy, pack the punch that you need when you're working hard, AND - they are pretty small comparatively. Love me a Neversecond C30, but they take a little bit to get it all down. These are so small that you can down them just a little faster. Zero stomach issues, just lots of feel good. Highly recommend these. Literally the ONLY downside is the steep price tag.
So good! The flavor is perfect--a hint of sweetness to make it palatable, but neutral enough that you'll be able to sling back as much as you need to to get through your activity. I love that the pull tab has the little slit so you don't have to deal with little gel tops getting tucked into every dark corner of your race belt/vest/shorts or littering the road/trail. This baby also goes down soooo smooth, with instant energy and nary a whisper of gut discomfort. The only thing I would change is if the formula could be just a little bit thinner, but it's still a good bit thinner than a lot of other gels I've tried.
Wow. How good is this product? I’ve used different gels in the past whilst doing Hyrox and long runs, however these gels truly upped my game during my last half marathon. To excel and get an 11 min PB shows how much adequate training but also adequate nutrition (pre, during and post) in events is just as important, if not more important.
