4 burner BBQ, however uneven heat distribution
Here is my honest review of this BBQ....Easy to put together.Over the last 6 months the sides start showing surface rust, even when the BBQ is totally undercover and away from rain. The right side burner on the 4 burner version, doesn't have enough heat that makes it way through the heat deflector, leaving meat undercooked compared to the 2 centre-mounted burners which are very good.We regularly clean the top and underside of our Grill and heat deflectors, this only helps control flare-ups, it doesn't help with heat distribution to the outer burners. The right side door catch has failed, the door will not stay closed even when pushing and holding the spring loaded door catch for a few seconds to allow the magnet to grip. The hood and all other elements of the BBQ ... Excellent BBQ
Excellent BBQ! It cooks really, is easy to clean and has excellent heat in the flat plate when grilling.Only down side is the gas connector to the gas bottle is a 90 degree connection and hence can't be used with a 9kg gas bottle unless you turn the regulator on its side. You will need to pay to replace this one piece, otherwise really happy with the BBQ.... Show more

Great BBQ and Rotisserie
Awesome BBQ. After reading previous comments I was concerned the rotisserie would let me down. But I was very happy with it. It held a constant 180 degrees and ran fine with 3.8kg on it. Overall it was great. Only issue I had was the plastic handle on the spit broke off when I lifted it up at the end. BBQ itself is awesome and cooks steaks perfectly. Would of thought with the 240v transformer for the lighting it would be capable of running the ignition instead of needing a AAA battery.... Show more

Great BBQ great cooking easy as!!
Great BBQ so far, I've only had it a few weeks and have done slow cooking and fast BBQing easily and really well. Cooked pastrami for 8 hours no problem cooked sausages and steaks at high heat with a great sizzle. So easy to use, easy to set up, and great price. Love the wok burner on the side, heated so well that I was able to deep fry on there. Over all so happy with it. With brakes on the wheels were really tough to lock and unlock. I wouldn't want to be moving it too often. The doors on the cabinet close well but they don't exactly line up. No issue with function just not a straight line.... Show more

Great BBQ with great performance
Well worth the wait - great bbq, I find the heat spreads well over the whole surface area for even cooking.Well constructed.only negative is one of the rubber stoppers for the lid fell off within a week and the temp dial on the hood arrived all fogged up and has not cleared. (thought after a few cooks it may clear itself but hasn't yet?... Show more

Great family BBQ!
It's a great bbq. Lots of space. The only thing is the heat distribution across all plates could be better. It does seem to be a bit uneven, but that's only for when they are all being used at once. Which is often for us because we have a piscaterian in our family. Therefore we separate our meat and fish. It's definitely a step up from our previous bbq and was in our budget at the time of purchase.... Show more

Great materials, solid cosntruction, fat collection messy
I have had it for a year now. Solid construction, rigid frame, good materials, wheels work well for moving it about and it looks great.Fat collection is horrible. I keep my BBQ outside with a cover on BUT there always seems to be a bit of water that gets in to the little "bath shaped" depression that holds the fat collection tray that is hidden away inside the BBQ unit. The small collector with handle comes out, but there is always water and fat in the "depression' that you have to squeeze your arm into to swab out with rags and/or cloth. It is a messy miserable task. For some reason there is aslo always some fat overflow onto the gas bottle as well. It is a pity the fat/mess collection system does NOT match the rest of the design.if the design is getting ... MoreI have had it for a year now. It is a pity the fat/mess collection system does NOT match the rest of the design.if the design is getting revisited, there is hot air that escapes from the outer edge of the hotplate. It takes a while to learn to avoid this part.Re spare parts, a half size flat plat with collector hole would be helpful for those (like me) who would like to replace the half size grill plate with a half size flat plat to get more plate cooking area.... It works, but it didn't live up to my expectation
We recently downsized from a 4 burner BBQ. It was about 12 years old... It probably cost around $1700 at the time. Apparently it needed some TLC ($$$) however I thought it was still working well.It disappeared one day...I didn't even get to argue its case to stay... gone - to the Tip.I had instructions o buy a mid range 2-burner... around about $800 price.... TBH there's not much to choose in that price range. The Beefeater looked good and sturdy and Smaller, wasn't going to take up so much space etc....Ordered it on line and we picked it up within a week or so... It came in pieces... and took hubby a day to put together.. I don't think we had to do this with our previous BBQ?Anyway...The first time I used the beefeater I was excited... I put on the gas on ... I put on the gas on (waited 5 minutes?) and placed a single steak on the grill. There wasn't even a sizzle! I was puzzled. I thought it was broken.. or ... had my husband put it together wrong? Then I became really annoyed watching my expensive steak turn grey.Next time I used it I closed the lid and let BBQ heat up for about 10 -15minutes. (As soon as you open and put some meat on it loses heat).Let me explain... In comparison to the new Beefmaster 2 burner BBQ, the older BBQ was 10x hotter and heated up in minutes and remained hot... gosh it was good..... Wahhh... I want it back!I'm feeling annoyed about it... I'd rather invest more money on a quality product. Wishing I could swap it now. Stoopid husband.. it was his doing that the old one was tossed and replaced.... Show more

Perfect BBQ
I'v cooked perfect steak, fried potatoes with onion and garlic, Turkish chicken kebabs with yougurt marinade, pork belly, bacon and eggs, and hamburger patties, (plus toasted the buns), since I bought it 5 days ago. I found the plate maintained a perfect temperature for every thing I've cooked so far and I'm looking forward to testing it with a roast, I expect it will meet my expectations when I do as I'm very impressed with it at this stage. I spent a lot of time researching BBQ with regards to plate size and mj output before purchasing this particular bbq.... Show more

Pick a different BBQ
I’m so disappointed. We had the previous model for 8 years and loved it. This one looked nice but it’s no where as good. To start the hot plate is cracked right through - we reported it and were advised it would be replaced, still waiting. The grill never gets properly hot so all the steaks boil rather than grills. 20min to cook a rare steak! On top of that, one of the knob lights is on all the time. I hate using it, it’s the worst purchase I’ve made. Very disappointing.... Show more
