Having tried every major supermarket’s nappies we found the quality really varied. Then going up a size the ones we found to be best previously, weren’t the same in the new size. It was all a bit of a headache trying to find the best value nappy. I was then given a sample of the pampers size 2 and was pleasantly surprised to find they were the same quality as the size 1 sample we had at the hospital. Now out of the newborn stage I could really see how the quality compared to the Mamia ones and I have to admit, it really was an improvement. A suspected allergy & jabs causing an upset tummy meant we needed a seriously good nappy and the Pampers stood up to this. Coming higher up the back than any others we’ve tried really helped with containing the explosive nappies ... MoreHaving tried every major supermarket’s nappies we found the quality really varied. Coming higher up the back than any others we’ve tried really helped with containing the explosive nappies and though we got one or two where it still came over, they never leaked on the legs like our previous ones did all the time. Baby has stared going through the night too on occasion and Pampers have meant no wet leaks where again our previous brand occasionally would. I had been put off by the price but not messing around trying different own brands, some being a useless waste of money and saving clothes from getting stained and ruined has probably saved me money in the long run now. Plus I know when I size up again I’ll get the same quality. I’ve since stocked up with 3x 76 packs. I will still use our other nappies for daytime wets to save a little but when I need a reliable, leakproof nappy for going out, overnight, upset tummies etc Pampers will be the one.

Ok so lets start by saying that there are ‘cheaper’ options available on the market for newborn nappies. However, after trying alternative products from all major supermarkets more than once, there is a good reason they are less money as the quality is just no where near that of Pampers. The newborn range from Pampers are so soft and stretchy and light and have fitted my baby from being a tiny newborn to now at 5 months, with his many squidgy rolls. Supermarkets often have offers on for Pampers and the fact they are so absorbent actually makes them very good value and we love the wetness indicator too. Have just started using the Pampers app too which offers many benefits for die hard fans such as myself. Also love the wipes too, but thats a different post! :)

After using a supermarket own brand nappy for my first baby, I thought I would be able to use them again for my second. As the saying goes ‘no two are the same!’ I experienced leak after leak after leak using them this time around and have always been dubious of trying Pampers as I was under the impression I would just be paying for the name/brand. However after receiving a free sample of these nappies I can honestly say we’re converted. We’ve been using them for two weeks so far (24/7) and there hasn’t been one leak! Happy baby = happy mama. The slightly premium price I’m now paying for these is definitely worth the lesser amount of spoiled baby vests!

As I am part of Pampers Squad I have been lucky to test and review the Pampers New Nappy.I can honestly say I am a huge fan of Pampers. I use it on my baby daily especially for his bed time routine and I am not surprised with the results. No wonder Pampers New Baby is the number 1 choice of UK parents for sensitive skin.I particular like the wetness indicator which helps me know when it’s time to change my baby, especially at night preventing leakage. It’s also super soft and has stretchy wings which hugs my baby in place. Great during tummy time and playing.I have also noticed that this nappy last very long which is due to the speedy quick dry core that absorbs liquid instantly and can protect my baby for up to 12 hours. It’s also approved by the British ... My 3 week old daughter has worn these nappies everyday and night since she was born, she hasn't had any leakages even after a very long trip out of the house when mummy's baby brain forgot to pack nappies in the bag. There has been no irritation or soreness from wearing the nappies and is rash free. The lowered middle of the waistband has helped to protect my daughters cord letting it drop off without getting caught on or pulled by the nappies.I also think these nappies are so lovely and soft and you can feel the quality when you open them to use.The wet indicter line down the front of the nappy was a brilliant touch, being able to check easily and quickly to see if baby needs nappy changing as the yellow turns green when the nappy is wet.I wouldn't of ... I have always been an avid user of Pampers since my eldest was born. I would not recommend anything else apart from these beauties! I have used other nappies but I have constantly gone back to Pampers, and especially 'New Baby'. Why? Firstly they are leakproof for my little boy's bottom! Recently my little boy has gone from exclusively being breastfed to starting to be weaned onto solids. These nappies hold it all in! They are smellproof. Other nappies I've used give off a vinegar/urine smell very quickly when wet. Pampers New Baby lock all the smell in. The feel of them is for me is edging on cotton-like, unlike other nappies that I see as plastic feel. They have helped keep my little boy nappy rash free, as well as helping nappy rash caused by antibiotics to heal ... MoreI have always been an avid user of Pampers since my eldest was born. As soon as I swopped a nappy (bottom of drawer emergency/spare none Pampers nappy) my little boy's nappy rash flared back up again. They draw all the urine away so fast. So honest opinion of a mum who has used Pampers since 2017, I would highly recommend Pampers New Baby!
I love pampers, my toddler is in size 5 active fit and they are the best ones we have used so far. But unfortunately same cannot be said about the new baby size 1. My son was born 3330 kg, but quite long and therefore slim. These were too loose on him and kept leaking and whatever i did i couldn't get them to fit snug and prevent leakage. Had to try the preemy, but they were too little, so sadly couldn't find a nice fitting pampers nappy. Aldis own brand are a fraction of the price and fit perfectly and don't leak. Very disappointed as was expecting better quality and fit from pampers.
If I could rate it zero, I would. It leaks, the plastic bit at the top of the back of nappy seems to fold down while my son is asleep - I don’t know how as this never happened with the other nappy brands. It gets filled up so quickly and leaves a very strong urine and chemical smells. I usually change his nappy every 2-3 hours even at night. It leaves really bad smell even before the two hour mark. Received as a promotional pack - will not be buying these. I’ll stick with Kit & Kin.
Being a bit of a bargain Hunter, before baby arrived I picked up a packet of nappies from every local supermarket to try. I was surprised by the difference between them and quality not always being reflected in price. Feeling like I’d cracked it I was then told they change quality again across the sizes, It all seemed a bit of a headache. I was then lucky enough to receive a free packet of size 2 pampers which coincided with baby’s first jabs. Well, all I can say is thank God! The poonamis after the jabs were no joke but pampers managed to contain all but the very worst where the supermarket nappies leaked more often than not ruining clothes, negating the cost saving. She has also begun going 9-12 hours at night on and off and again the Pampers deal with this better ... She has also begun going 9-12 hours at night on and off and again the Pampers deal with this better than the Supermarket’s, saving her laying wet and having to wash her sleep bags after leaked nappies. I do feel that Pampers are pricy, in the daytime she can wet a nappy multiple times in an hour and while Pampers will wick it away and keep her dry, I don’t want to leave her in a nappy once wet so I will keep my Aldi nappies for daytimes in the house but for occasions such as going out, over night, a bad tummy we will definitely use Pampers as they really are the most reliable and I’m told they are equally reliable across the sizes so I can buy them with confidence. I would say to other mums put off by the price to keep a pack handy too post jabs, no one wants to throw away their gorgeous and expensive clothes thanks to staining so it’s cheaper in the long run.
I have a 14lb baby and we are still on size 1 as my baby is very long and hasn’t bulked out yet. I was using cheaper brands however they started to leak and I lost confidence in them and baby was very grumpy. I went back to pampers and haven’t had a leak yet, well one occasion where we were in a situation where he had it on way too long after a bottle. We can go through 12-13 hours overnight and no wet clothes or bedding and baby is so much happier when he wakes up. I should had stayed with pampers, was mainly due to price but works out cheaper when spending more on additional washing due to soaked clothes from leaking nappies. Baby suffers a little from nappy rash but minimal however I wouldn’t expect no irritation but nothing a bit of Sudafed can’t fix.We love ... We tried Aldi’s but weren’t for us due to leakages and I love the softness of the pampers new baby size 1 nappies.I would recommend to anyone, size 2 are too big at the moment despite being in the weight range but as previously stated baby is long and not bulked out. I already have a whole stash of size 2 for when baby is ready. If you shop around you can get some very good deals on the prices, so rarely pay full price but even when I do pay full price I still feel happy with my purchase.I have downloaded the app and only just started collecting the stamps, but you have to open the packaging where stated otherwise you can rip through the code, which I have been really good at doing! We have now got one stamp! Yay!I love the indicator showing whether it is wet or not so I don’t end up throwing a clean nappy, and also can see easily that it is soiled by the time we have done getting dressed in the mornings! Never understand how something so small can produce so much!!Thank you Pampers from a happy baby and a happy mama!
