As described. I had gotten the white sculpey before so I wanted to get a bigger amount alongside the beige clay and color manually on my own if needed.Clay is firm out of package until you warm it up or use clay softener. Color is pure white and quality. I feel it bakes even whiter when solidifying, which is great especially for painting.Thank you again!

I find the Sculpey Premo much easier to use with my arthritic hands. The clay is softer so it's easier to manipulate into the shapes/designs I want to make my earrings. I started using Sculpey clay products on my 3-D sculpted tumblers, Super Sculpey & Original. Super Sculpey is great for that, but also harder on my hands to use. They would get sore faster, making tumblers then when I make earrings. I love that I can sculpt with Premo and put a texture on it with various methods. Great clay products all around as far as I am concerned.

I use Premo in all my sculptures. I love the accents the best. I think they hide imperfections better and they are just beautiful and give my work that extra star power. I love the color choices too. My work holds up so well even after baking.

I’ve been using sculpey premo for 10+ years and I love it! Very durable and perfect for jewelry. I feel they have a great mix of fun colors to use straight out of the package, but also the primaries for mixing. Will never stray from premo line of clay!
I tried Sculpey Premo for the first time about a year ago, and I loved it. I’ve purchased it again several times and will continue to buy this clay to work with. My only complaint would be that sometimes I need to spend extra time conditioning the clay before I can work with it, but thats something I’ve found a common with other brands from time to time also.
I have always used some colors (almost 10 years) such as purple, black, red. I like it, the colors are beautiful and the consistency too. It's not sticky so it works easily and without getting your hands too dirty, especially with very dark colors like black! I will continue to use it, always!
I’ve been using sculpey clay for 10+ years. I started making clay earrings about 3 years ago and just last year switched to using premo full time. I love soufflé too but premo has the perfect consistency and texture to work with! Not at all dry, very easy to condition and mix.
I use a LOT of Sculpy, so usually it's the eight-pound super economy sized box of utilitarian red/brown. But recently, I discovered that one of my favorite Christmas ornaments, Marlin Monroe (picture a blond-bombshell wearing a red glitter mermaid tail) had broken her martini glass. Can't have THAT.I bought a square of Premo Sculpy Accents in translucent and fashioned a replacement. Awesome sauce! You can't tell it apart from the original martini glass.I am quite pleased with myself.
SO GLAD that Sculpey FINALLY brought back their OPAL ACCENTS clay. It is so pretty, & I use it for jewelry and decorative accents in faerie houses and cottages, etc. The one thing that I'd say is that it DOES have a tendency to DRY OUT. I was set to lose the work & cost of several bricks' worth! The cracks in my work were quite noticeable. : (Since I'm horribly allergic to the Sculpey clay softener stuff, it all seemed lost and I was severely bummed. The store brand of oven-hardening clay is pretty good, and IS quite soft, but unfortunately, the product line tends to lack as great a range of Crazy And Awesome Colors and Effects! So I remained **bummed out** for a long time. But <3 LUCKY ME! <3 ~~my gal-pal gave me the inside track on a fix-it for crumbly clay ... So I remained **bummed out** for a long time. But <3 LUCKY ME! <3 ~~my gal-pal gave me the inside track on a fix-it for crumbly clay problems~~HUZZAH!It's cheap & amazing:1)First, U gotta snag one of those heavy duty zipper freezer bags, the bigger ones of like a quart or even a half-gallon size, that will REALLY stand up to some squashing & coshing!2) THEN, U break up or slice the clay into slim, sorta-same-size pieces. (4me, there were plenty of CRUMBLY BITS, so B ready4that!) lol3) NEXT, U dribble a few drops of unscented mineral oil over the top of the crumbles in the zipper bag. WELL, GEEZ, GUYS~~I ONLY HAD BABY OIL! The Fates were apparently cool with it~~AND IT WORKED!! Turns out Baby Oil & Mineral Oil are practically the same thing!4) Anyhoo, U zip up the bag AND, after letting the droplets sink in for a little while, massage, Massage, MASSAGE the bag, BABY. Whew!My fingers got a work-out. But they stayed pretty clean. AND they didn't break out in welts, which is my usual reaction to the alternative clay softener product. : ( Aaand. I managed to SALVAGE MY OPAL CLAY!! Good On Sculpey for making a clay that stands up to hard use, I say. RIGHT ON! ; D
Sculpey Premo is overall a great product for more experienced clay artists. While Sculpey is a wonderful brand, the Premo is much harder to work because it is very firm. The nice part is that if you’re more a novice like myself, the Premo is still slightly shapable once it’s out of the oven, whereas softer clay that’s easier to work with is more brittle out of the oven.
