Pop I by Preserve is an innovative new line of personal care products made with devolatized recycled ocean plastics by Preserve. Pop I (Preserve Ocean plastic initiative) products are made from recycled #2 HDPE plastic recovered through the clean-up efforts of our partners. The handle material has been treated with a devolatization process with the intention of being accepted in food grade applications. Not only are pop I items made with recycled devolatized ocean plastic, but 25% of the proceeds of pop I products sold will be donated to non-profits that work to clean up Oceans and beaches, support marine conservation, and research plastic pollution. This supports a critical effort, as 93% of plastic reaches the ocean through ten major riverways. Pop I works to support organizations capturing plastic before it reaches the ocean, developing better recycling systems in developing countries, researching the effects of plastic in the ocean and on marine life, and providing better solutions for recovered and recycled packages that were heading for the ocean. Pop I by Preserve, and all Preserve products are BPA free, Made in the USA and are never tested on animals. Pop I toothbrushes and razor handles are recyclable through Preserve "Gimme 5" Recycling program.
