Prince Lionheart - Ultimate Wipes Warmer

I hate this. I was so excited to get it with my first born. Babies so badly dislike being all cozy and then getting a bum change with a cold wipe. With this specific Warmer I had issues. The very second I pulled the wipe out of the warmer it went cold anyway. You constantly have to keep it plugged in to keep the wipes warm. Which I understand but it’s not very mobile. So if your changing your baby in the nursery sure maybe it will work good for you. If you like to change your babies in the living room or bedroom maybe not.

A Life Saver!

Love this wipe warmer...I have been using it for over 3 months now. Keeps the wipes warm and moist. Before buying this warmer, I read some reviews which mentioned that the wipes get dry and ripped when pulling them out. I however found this is due to the type of wipe being used and not the warmer. I have tried 3 different brands, one of them was great but the other two dry out easily. However, to stop the wipes from drying out, I added water to the wipes before putting them in the warmer...something I found very helpful.I gave 4 stars because of the fact that I have to replace the sponge every 3 months but overall am very pleased with the warmer as my son longer cries during diaper change!

Does not warm wipes as older models used to

Have used PL brand decades ago and loved it but this newer model barely warm the wipes especially with the antimicrobial pad on the bottom. Either item was a defect or the quality has gone downhill. Resulting in warming wipes in microwave when needed.

Go for it

This item does indeed produce warm wipes. My kid seems more appreciative of it and that's what makes this purchase worth it. 2 things tho. It has a bit of a smell to it. At 1st I thought something was burning but it seems to be a permanent appliance like burnish smell. I was afraid to leave it plugged in but other reviews assured me it was safe and I now agree it seems safe. The other thing is you have to remember to wet the pad underneath or itll burn. Mine is actually brown underneath because it burned a little. Having a newborn with all the issues they bring plus having to add a reminder to wet a sponge in your wipe warmer comes off as a little much but if u can put a reminder in your phone or something before it burns its still worth it.

Must buy if your kid hates diaper changes

While me and my wife tried to be minimalists when it came to buying baby related products before the baby arrived. Many people suggested that this product would be a total waste of money. After few days of diaper changes and constant crying while doing so we noticed that our baby boy hates it when the wipe touches him and his pitch goes up a notch. we started warming the wipes by hand, it helped a bit but the crying persisted. I started looking into wipe warmers and saw that few parents used a warmer and it helped so we decided to give it a try. picked up one this evening from Walmart and tonight was the first diaper change that went with minimal fuss! I cant believe something so small can make such a difference! WAS..a great unit..

Loved loved loved, this product. I used it regularly and it was maintained and cleaned to restore maximum control over having no bacterial or fungal growing inside.You don't saturate the foam and you don't leave it dry. With that said. My son is 8 months old and for this to work it has to be plugged in all the time or your wipes won't be warm. With that said my son is now almost 9 months. And this foam piece turned brown and hard and burnt. Like a piece of toast your 88 yr old grandfather would find invigorating with butter.This is a severe safety issue. It could have caused a fire. Its always had a wet pad and never ever had the opportunity to dry out and become like this. At the end of the day, I do not believe the foam they use is correct. The wipe warmer gets way too hot on the bottom. And it has the nastiest smell. This needs to moisture sensor in it.

Worth it

I got the Prince Lionheart wipe warmer despite the mixed reviews I read about it online. The price is right, so didn’t hurt to try it, but it actually works. My son was born in December and we lived in Idaho at that time, and this was a game changer. If you have a boy, this is a must have, or you’re going to have a pee shower everytime you change the diaper and use a wet wipes on their bums. It works good, keeps the wipes warm. My used to cry everytime the cold wipes touched his skin, but when i started to use the wipe warmer, he stopped. I just wish it had a window that let me see how much diapers were left inside, but it’s easy to have a quick look. Overall, it’s a good product,

malfunctions, burn wipes. do not recommend.

Terrible product. I started to smell something burning and was very surprised to notice the wipes were burning. see pic attached for burn marks at the bottom of container. it was worse, i tried cleaning it but the burnt smell just wont go away.this is a serious hazard.do not buy.

quality quality quality is missing

it works well with pampers wipes, but forget it if you use any other kind. its a hassle with others, and after the first couple months of use the rubber thing that the wipes go through was not tight enough to stop wipes, then the wipes kept burning, the pad needs to stay wet I understand (which i tried to keep it that way all the time) but it kept turning brown too, and it messes with the chemicals in the wipes and it went from brown to gray. it was weird, no matter what i did to wash off the stains on the pad it wouldnt come off. i eventually threw this product away. i remember i paid $19 for this in 2021, now its 2023 and its at almost $30

so confused

How can the reviews be so opposing! I tried to determine if it was the particular time period when purchased and that theory didn't work. I can't believe there would be so many that were 'defective'. So which is it..do the wipes stay warm both inside and outside of the warmer? is the lid unmanageable? do the wipes dispense easily ? does the lid mysteriously pop open on its own? do the wipes turn brown? is there an issue with bacteria..OR NOT? This is ridiculous...
