A man named Alexander Liepa perfected the flavor and the patent for it is posted in the year 1976. It wasn't until the 1980s after the company made alterations in the flavor that it became a popular snack all over the world. Today, Pringles has been acquired by Kellogg's and still continues to be one of the go-to snacks for people who like tasty and crispy chips.
