Bought these 3 ton stands recently. I haven't used them yet but what I like is the pin for extra safety except there appears to be some slack between the stand notches and an inserted pin. I would prefer a snug fit. I also wish that the max extended height was an inch or inch and a half higher. These are actually a quarter inch lower than the similar smaller 2 ton jack stands. That doesn't make sense to me.

I bought two sets of these 3-ton jack stands to replace Harbor Freight Jack stands that were recalled due to actual failures of the ratchet system. These are fantastic. The double lock feature is amazing. When you have thousands of pounds of steel resting on something that you are working UNDER; trust is a pretty important factor. If you know the basics of using them; in other words, not on hills or soft ground...DUH; these will give you all the confidence in the world.

I had an old pair of jack stands from craftsman. I figured it was time to update them. I now know I waited way to long to do it. The safety pin is a brilliant idea. Everything looks great and the finish is amazing
Many MINOR CRACKS in the welds very poor garbage job done. Extremely unsafe. These other 1 star reviews are accurate!! I am warning you, do not trust!
The locking pin is easy to operate to set the height & lock in place that provides a sense of extra security while working under the vehicle. Jacks are well build and strong I have used to support vehicles ranging from a compact to a minivan without any concerns. Price is also reasonable. Highly recommended.

Used 2 pairs to hold up my 12,000 lb. fifth wheel trailer for a break job. Felt sturdy and safe. Look, a jack stand is a jack stand is a jack stand, but one with a second locking device just makes you feel better when crawling under that heavy vehicle!!
Used it the first week I received them and I'm highly impressed with the quality and price. These replaced my old harbor freight stands that had the famous recall. I love the locking pin for extra safety and piece of mind.
Welds look good. Solid jack stands. I really like the double locking pin as a safety precaution. Just as good as other jack stand for double the money.
