I purchased the prol-ine C1-1 vacuum sealer two weeks ago to vac seal salami (3pigs). The machine did a great job, I couldn't be happier, any salamis that were a bit hollow were tightened up by the vacuum. So pleased with the performance of the machine that I have ordered another one for my friend,he owns a chamber vac machine worth several thousand dollars but it broke down ( at the worst time) and he was so impressed with the C1-1 that he wanted one. Service and communication from Brent at sous vide chef has been 1st class, thoroughly recommend.

I had another smaller machine that doesn’t seal any meats with even the slightest bit of blood on it and lucky I only paid $30 for it as I now only use it for fruits and fridge items.The Sous Vide machine is amazing! I have taken everything out of freezer and sealed them using this machine and can’t say enough about how effective it is. It is easy to use and very quick. It was trial and error but I learnt how to allow room for the items in the bag.I think my only qualms is the vacuum is so effective that we can’t tell what’s in the bag sometimes so I recommend stickers to write what’s in the bag and how to cook. Firstly great shipping time given the shipping challenges now. Bought this unit to replace my old provac which I was surprised to find was actually sold by proline under a different brand. Was a great machine for a cheap residential and I was surprised when it got prized bench top status after a few days. When it broke I wanted a unit that was more heavy duty, with a better close mechanism, roll storage and cutter built in and could use with canisters. This unit ticks all the boxes it’s fantastic - when I think about it my vac sealer is the most used appliance in my kitchen. I’m sure this unit will stand the test of time very pleased. And great service from proline and sousvidechef. Thank you!

Super easy to purchase, shipped sooner than stated and arrived quickly. The machine is a good solid unit and not as chunky as I was expecting which is great. Seals really well. The bags/rolls are great quality.I couldn't get the marinating function to work like the videos show but I'll play with it some more when I have more time. The only negative is that my upper gasket comes off every single time I open the lid (it's SO annoying!). I'm forever having to fit it back in before I can use it again. I'd still recommend this machine though! SO much better than my old foodsaver one.
in the past 12years i have destroyed 3 Vacuum machines all of different make models.....I vacuum just about everything i make from banana cake to filleted fishI came across this Pro-Line C1 Heavy Duty Vacuum Sealer machinebuy accident during a search for a new machine as my last one died after 4years..I have 3 freezers with food ranging from frozen fish Bait to frozen fish,Chicken,Beef ,Lamb, to Pastries, stews,curries,any left overs are frozen.This Machine vacuum machine is the quickest out of all those i have destroyedYes it was dearer but hey i believe the level of evacuation appears like double all those other machines which will equate to longer storage time.RegardsPhil n Sylvia
Poor man pays twice, not any more, sick of buying cheap cryovac machines, I was until I discovered this heavy duty Proline C1 vacuum sealer cryovac machine it has changed my whole food world.I now cryovac everything from Seafood to nuts, dried herbs etcKnowing that my food has little if no air in it, which mean it can be stored for years not months.The high quality of this machine is outstanding and is HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDThe service and communication was highly professional with quick delivery in these hard times.Lastly this was an excellent online shopping experience.
Initially I was skeptical of buying a C1 vacuum sealer for processing a steer. Brent assured the unit was capable and was up to such occasional use according to other customers. I concur.Results IMO were impressive - Carcass 310kg dressed, 175 vacuumed bags (350 seals) in a 7-8 hour session.The unit performed brilliantly, without issue, handled all cuts incl. 55kg mince, 45kg sausages, 17 large roasts, ribs & even squeezed in brisket.Both I and the professional home butcher were impressed with the performance and capability.I found the C1 to be adequate for this type of occasional heavy/intensive use, & significantly better than a sealer I borrowed for a previous **** (single seal with narrower roll, it constantly needed resting & extended processing time).The ... MoreInitially I was skeptical of buying a C1 vacuum sealer for processing a steer. Shopping experience was the best I've had when ordering online. I was able to phone Brent to ask Qs before ordering. He was very helpful.Very happy with the product.The proline replaced my old foodsaver. I was happy with the Foodsaver but the Proline is much better. I dry can a lot so needed a good strong motor, this machine ticks the boxes. Would not hesitate buying from Sous Vide Chef again.
I originally purchased a Pro Line D2 but it arrived with a manufacturing fault. I did some more research and decided I would upgrade to the Pro Line C1 heavy duty model if possible. When I spoke to Brent at Sous Vide Chef he was very helpful and I was able to upgrade. I'm very impressed with the Pro Line C1 model as well as the service provided by the company. I would recommend them to everyone who is looking to purchase a well built vacuum sealer. Great to purchase from an Australian company as well.Rod Mackenzie
I was pleasantly surprised with my shopping experience. Not knowing you is always a bit risky, however Have to say that your service was excellent. My parcel was well packed and arrived promptly. The quality of the Proline vacuum sealer is excellent and the rolls of sealer are also excellent.If I can add one piece of advice the video does not explain that the bag opening has to open slightly to accommodate the two lugs the drain channel in the machine. It took me a few tries before I figured this out,and much searching to find a u tube that shows that this has to be done. I am not mechanically minded at all, so perhaps this is obvious to someone else but not for me. Apart form that, well done and thank you.:-)
