This product was received for free from Influenster for review/testing purposes. This product helped my acne. The active ingredients are benzoyl peroxide in the first two, and salicylic acid in the third. I was happy with this as a periodic acne treatment but not as a skin routine. This is marketed for sensitive skin. As someone with sensitive skin- the wash is a gritty one and it suggests massaging for 1-2 minutes. It’s on the very upper end of what I’ll use on my skin. Benzoyl peroxide products are drying in general. I found I couldn’t use the products the recommended amount. Maybe once a day for one or two of the products. The moisturizer is very lightweight. I will continue to use the products periodically with modifications for my sensitive skin!

So I have PCOS which causes me to have hormonal acne at the wonderful age of 34. I thought I would be done with it after my teenage years but that is not the case. I was super happy to receive this voxbox and hopefully rid myself of this acne once again, Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Over all it did work when used daily. I had less active breakouts. I feel like this is a product you would have to continually use to see any benefits.

My skin is incredibly dry. Usually, the adjustment period during change of seasons is absolutely brutal. This is my first time using Proactiv's green tea moisturizer and I have to say, I absolutely love it! it has kept my skin moisturized during this tough period and has been an excellent skin prep tool before makeup. I've used quite a few moisturizers and this one is definitely one of my favorites. My skin never feels greasy or tacky, the moisturizer leaves it feeling fresh and soft. It even helps with keeping my skin from overproduction of oils, which usually happens when my skin is too dry to over compensate. I use it night and day with my skin care and sunblock, and my skin has healed and has been doing excellently through my period and seasonal change. Love it!

Proactiv is on the harsh end of benzoyl peroxide treatments. Before jumping into Proactiv, try a few standard drugstore BP products as a control test to see how your skin reacts to BP in general. If those bring improvement for you, but it’s not enough, then this is the big guns. I used to have severely oily skin with cystic acne. My biggest breakouts occurred on days I forgot to wash my face with a cleanser. Looking back now, I know I had all the signs of predominately bacterial acne. Even with staying hydrated and moisturizing, my skin was so oily I could soak through a quarter of a pack of oil blotting sheets in one go. Thus, I wasn’t afraid of a harsh, drying product like Proactiv. This is a great product. I suffer from a zillion tiny, stubborn, reoccurring blackheads in the tzone that I can't get out. This stuff helps remove them and keep them under control. If one does result in a blemish I put this on it overnight to dry it up fast. The tube could be larger for the price.
I’ve used Proactiv for years and love it! However I was dealing with some kind of itchy breakout on my chin for about 1 1/2 years. Nothing got rid of it. And everything I tried just dried my skin out around the breakout. I remembered how I loved using the GreenTea moisturizer. How absolutely soothing it is. And now it’s in a bigger size! After a month of using it my breakout healed and stays healed as long as I include Green Tea moisturizer in my daily Proactiv routine. And my skin looks and feels soft for someone who’s 52!
I bought this product because of all the great reviews. I use the Proactive original three step system but struggle with dry skin from it and wanted to find a stronger moisturizer. This is very moisturizing but would burn when I put it on. I used it after the repairing treatment as instructed. Within two days I had four new cystic pimples. It regressed nearly all of my progress with the Proactive three step system. Nothing else in my diet or regiment changed—just the green tea moisturizer. I don’t know what was so irritating but it did not work well for my skin. Very bummed I decided to try it.
I have been putting this on between step 2 and step 3 of the original system when I’m feeling dry this winter and it’s perfect at preventing dryness from step 3. When I use it after step 3, it just doesn’t give me that amazing soothing feeling for some reason. Even if I am not dry, I cannot go without putting this on because it just feels so good and makes my skin look nice. It smells great too! I wish it came in a bigger bottle because I don't ever want to run out of it. A little goes a long way. This is my favorite part of my routine!
I have been using this moisturizer for over ten years and love it so much! I get so many compliments on my skin and can really only attribute it to the green tea moisturizer. I’m very sensitive to things feeling greasy or heavy on my skin and this is the only product I’ve found that doesn’t feel like either. I am worried because lately I haven’t been able to find it at CVS or Ulta where I usually buy it. I hope they don’t discontinue, I’d be devastated! I recommend this product to everyone!
