Proactiv Solution Step 2 Revitalizing Toner 120ml

The cure for mask-ne! This product is amazing. With needing to wear a mask at work I developed acne in my chin. This has completely cleared it up. The first application can be a bit drying, so I would recommend using every other day to start. Very affordable and effective product.

I was lucky enough to receive this product at the perfect time! It was my “monthly” time and we all know that means hormones, stress and acne! And for me it’s the only time I really get acne but when I do I get it bad! So I was excited to out this Proactive Repairing Treatmemt Toner to the test. I used as the final step in my normal facial cleansing routine. And I can tell you after the first day I noticed a significant different in my larger acne spots, they were starting to dry out a bit. I’d say even if you get rare breakouts or if you have acne frequently it’s worth trying Proactive. I was only using this product once a day instead of twice a day. So, at first I really loved this product. I thought my face felt good after using it, but then I noticed one day my neck and face particularly around my hair line on my face was very very itchy. It dried out my skin so much that I had to put Vaseline in areas on my face and around my hair line. My skin peeled afterwards. I’ve also broken out more than ever. So I would say this product definitely doesn’t work with my skin. On a side note it also has a terrible smell.

I received a Proactive item at no cost in exchange for my honest review from Proactive and Influenster. It wasn’t this proactive product, but I have used this before. Harsh but works on stubborn adult acne. My skin is used to daily applications of benzoyl peroxide and weekly peels. I didn’t find this product harsher than what I was using but if you have sensitive skin would ease into using this. This did clear up some whiteheads and inflammation overnight. Would recommend.

I recently received this product and was interested in testing it out immediately on a little patch of acne I had. I'm not sure if the product itself helped, but the acne did diminish more after a couple of days of use - but due to my sensitive skin I made sure to use a small amount and only spot treated the area. For me, I don't think this is something I would use unless I had a horrible breakout as it is really drying, but I think for helping with spot treatment it is helpful. Definitely test it first on a small area before use!

It is the first time I use any Proactiv product in my lifetime and I can confirm it works. I received the Repairing Treatment step 3, it is easy to use and you can see a difference in one day. I used as directed and saw the two blemishes in my face reduce and disappear overnight. It’s really great quality and does not burn or smell like anything. It was refreshing and cooling, felt like a good moisturizer. I recommend this to everyone.

I already use a (store brand) benzoyl peroxide spot-treatment cream, so I was pretty sure the sample size I received free to test would get results before I even started it. It’s a lower concentration (2.5% vs my spot treatment’s 10%) so it seems more for everyday use rather than problem breakouts. I would say this did a fairly good job of keeping breakouts under control, I have a few problem areas on my chin that resist all treatments, but this at least minimized them even it if couldn’t eradicate them. I have pretty oily skin and I think using this every day also kept me a little drier than usual. Overall I’d probably use this again!

I am liking this product so far, the smell isn’t bad as other creams with benzoyl peroxide it is not overly drying for now. However I would advise people with very sensitive skin to use but since I have an oily skin and only uses it at nighttime. I just started the product yesterday so I can’t speak to its effectiveness against acne but it has benzoyl peroxide and that is really good for fighting pimples. Would buy again!

This toner has helped my skin drastically. I was having hormonal acne on my chin and blackheads…. and realized I was missing a step in my skincare routine. My face feels clearer, cleaner. I recommend!

CONTAINS PARABENS!

There are loyal Proactiv users. I used to be one, too (past tense), BUT THEIR PRODUCTS CONTAINS PARABENS!! If you're using this for acne (I don't know why else you would use it...), Parabens could be causing the problem in the first place. If you aren't familiar with parabens, familiarize yourself. There is a reason so many products are now paraben free - they're def no bueno for your skin and have been proven to a carcinogen. Instead, try other clean beauty products from Target that are better for you and possibly cost even less than Proactiv. Target has truly upped their game with brands they now carry.
