(1,815 reviews)

The Proclear multifocal is a soft contact lens that can be worn for up to a month. It is made from omafilcon B with a water content of 62% and is used to correct presbyopia. It uses two optic zones to guarantee the wearer excellent vision of objects that are far away, nearby and in between these. This means that there are actually two types of lens here: a D lens for the dominant eye and an N lens for the non dominant eye. This system ensures that the wearer is able to enjoy a high degree of visual comfort at all distances. The material is very good at binding water, which means the lens surface is constantly being wetted. As the material is also non ionic, hardly any deposits are able to form on the lens. There are two things that are vitally important regarding the handling of this lens: Do not cleanyour Proclear Toric lenses manually, as hardly any deposits form on them, and wet your l.

I've been wearing these lenses for about six years and overall they're good for this type of specialty lens. I've torn three lenses in that time under normal use, so overall durability could improve especially since these lenses cost a lot more then a regular lens.

I’m in love with this palette! For the price point, you can’t beat it! The packaging is pretty and colorful! The shadows are super unique, bright and pigmented! They glide over the eyelid easily and are blendable! I experience minimal fallout! I’m able to create so many different looks with this palette! I always get so many compliments on my eye look when using this palette! If you’re a fan of bright shadows, you need this palette!

3.5Mostly it's a very good palette, except that if I was the one who pit it together I'd put more work into it. First, the two last green shades are just too similar to each other. I could use one is one aye and one in the other, and I don't think you'd notice the difference. The first orange shade lacks pigmentation. You have to really build it up if you want it to work. The deep blue and purple are just not beginners friendly. They will just stay there and not blend out. I'm say it's more of a packing in shade, but you can make it work if you use the right technique and the right brush. And lastly, the yellow shade. The worst eyeshadow I have ever tried in my life. Powdery, not pigmented, useless. I've literally never been able to do something with them. It's the same experience. The rest of the shadows are very good.

I've had this one for a while now and I really love it! I really only got it to use the bold colors as a base for other looks, but I end up using it alone all the time. It's so fun! I also love that the pans pop out so you can change them around and replace as needed. I know I'll probably use up some colors faster than others. I'm really impressed at how pigmented these are and for so cheap! The darker purple is beautiful, but it tends to stain my eyelids pink if I don't use good makeup remover. The green also comes off as more teal, but that is really all I could find that is wrong with it. There's a good sized mirror in there too.

Expensive and ripped same day
26 April 2023

I have used acuvue contacts for many years. These lenses have some different functionality, and worth some premium, but have had left and right eyes both rip on the first day I wore them, twice! Not worth the 6 times premium.

I have been wearing Proclear contacts the day they came out on market. I started being nearsighted, then a vision change so my doctor recommended me to do mono vision( one eye reading & the other eye distant)Proclear-They have much more water & imitate the outside of eye. So my eyes are always moist. So presently, due to iPhone & holding phone closer then a book. The vision changed again. Now I'm using these proclear multifocals. It's the same as the mono in the center, then the next ring is mid range(computer distance)The last ring is: on the reading eye the outside ring is distance & the distance eye has a ring for reading. It works! They are the best contacts I have been wearing. Had the best prices & delivery is great.

Proclear Multifocal sadly not for me
22 September 2022

I tried them because of the larger diameter but I found the proclear lenses to be thicker and stiffer than my other contact lenses. They were comfortable but dried out quickly maybe due to the thickness so they wouldn't move in my eye and I had 'ghost' vision alot. My eyes tend to dryness with contacts anyways so not the lenses fault. I wear them on weekends when I'm not working and don't need perfect vision since they are comfortable

The lens are very soft and it stick on my finger more than on my eye. At first I have difficulty putting it on, as it kept laying flat on my finger and not sticking onto my eye. After a long struggle with it, finally I manage to put it on. It was very comfortable and I totally don't feel anything on my eye at all for the first 2hrs. However, the comfort doesn't last for very long, after 2hrs of wearing, I started to feel dryness and the lens nearly falling out of my eye. I will need to keep wetting it with an eyedrop for the rest of the day. I feel regret of buying this as it is not cheap at all with compared to other brands. I hope to get a refund on this item if possible because it is not as described!I have also tried J&J Acuvue Oasys for Pressbyopia, it is really good. It can really last me for more than 8hrs with no need of used with any eyedrop at all. Plus the price is much cheaper than Proclear multifocal XR. I highly recommended Acuvue Oasys!

Very Disappointed! Something has changed
18 October 2013

I have used Proclear Multi-Focals for several years and was very happy that something was available for a multi-focal need. Since 2012, I have notice a significant change in how the contacts perform, have limited use and longevity. The contact lenses do not last as long as they did. They tear easy, wear out faster, and do not obtain a good fit for very long. Additionally, I find myself needing to re-wet and re-clean throughout the day in order to have better performance and comfort. I contacted Cooper who manufactures the product, and discussed this in length. We did confirm I am using the product correctly, and following all steps prior to and after use. I contacted Cooper who manufactures the product, and discussed this in length. We did confirm I am using the product correctly, and following all steps prior to and after use. They were willing to replace what I purchased. In this past week, I opened a new set only to find by day 4 and 7 use, one contact had a tear and the other a wear problem. I have now resorted back to eyeglasses and only use the contacts for travel and other situations that make eyeglass wear more challenging because I do not want to spend money for contacts that do not last the 30 days with normal use. A few years ago I wrote a raving review about the Cooper product and the Supplier EZ Contacts. Since that time, I will say EZ Contact's service has remained consistent and that is why I chose to purchase from them. However, the Cooper product- Proclear Multifocal has not remained consistent.I base that on the fact that My current eye exams and contact need remain the same- so nothing has changed there. The contacts that performed well for several years, do not perform well now. Will be looking for another brand to do the job needed.Cons: Tear easily, Compromises Vision, Sub-standard Quality, Frequent cleaning, Feel dry, Do Not LastBest Uses: Travel, Activities and sportsDescribe Yourself: Experienced wearer
