Its double action provides relief of haemorrhoids and other associated anorectal conditions. 1. Pain relief using local anaesthetic 2. Reduces inflammation and swelling 3. Relieves itching INSTRUCTIONS Refer to pack INGREDIENTS Each gram contains: hydrocortisone 5mg, cinchocaine hydrochloride 5mg. WARNINGS Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Do not use for children 12 years of age and under. Do not use for more than 7 days unless a doctor has told you to. These suppositories are great! They don't have a horrible paraffin smell like Anusol, and they're lots better. I feel better having used Proctosedyl after a couple of days.

they were working but my GP told me to stop using them as they contained steroids which encourages bleeding
