The Proctosedyl Ointment, produced by the brand Proctosedyl, is designed for symptomatic relief of external haemorrhoids, as used in traditional Western herbal medicine. This ointment is traditionally used to alleviate itching and discomfort associated with haemorrhoids, as well as minor skin inflammation. For optimal results, apply the ointment after a bowel motion, ensuring the anal area is clean. For external haemorrhoids, gently apply a small amount to the affected area using a finger. For internal haemorrhoids, attach the nozzle to the tube and carefully insert it into the anus while squeezing the tube. Repeat application up to three times daily. I first bought this in New Zealand and had no hopes of finding it ever again the US. I was so happy to find it on EBay! It is absolutely the best hemorrhoid treatment Ive ever used. It saved me on that trip. It works very quickly cant recommend it highly enough.

This is the most effective treatment for haemorrhoids that I have found. It was first prescribed by my GP but subsequently an inferior product was prescribed, presumably for economic reasons. Thank you Independent Pharmacy for supplying it.
Sometimes the usual creams aren't sufficient for long time sufferers . This is excellent not only shrinking piles but instantly soothing them. I have used it for a long time and would absolutely recommend it.
This ointment was absolutely useless. Anusol was more effective. Wasn't even offered a refund or substitute. Very disappointed in the product and the company.
Best haemorrhoid cream I've found that works. Had a really painful internal and external haemorrhoid. Using this cream started to ease the pain within hours of using it. I'd highly recommend using the same brand suppositories, if you can get them, also.
Nothing had worked to relive the pain I was in, worst experience in my life after birth. I tried a few other options with no relief at all. This one was great it helped dull the pain only for a short amount of time but I applied multiple times a day. Much better than the other options. The applicator tip with the holes works a lot better too.
It doesnt fix the hemarroid but i have had a severe hemaroid since 2019 that has caused a huge peice of streched out skin and occassionally recurrIng hemaroid. It is the only thing that brings relief when it gets bad again.I suspect had i found this stuff in the first place instead of after months of pain that my situation would never have been as bad.
Too bad they don't sell this in the USA. My Dr recommended it a few years ago, and I have been using it since. I was warned not to use it too much, your body's adrenal glad will depend on it and not perform properly. Just use it when you really have to. It will really works! You have to order it from Australia or NZ. Gave it 4/5 stars due to the above gland issue if overused. I have been using it for ten yrs, great product.
