Professional Tens / Ems (MH8001) Combo

Using the TENS & EMS machine to assist with treating the effects of Ross River Virus. Finding that it assists in pain management, especially my knees. it’s also helping me with muscle toning after being immobile for many months. The machine when used with batteries is very efficient, I usually get 4 to 5 days from one battery. The gel pads actually last longer than advertised. The only negative comment would be that the power cord does not fit into the power point, it is very loose and can easily get pulled out when the machine is connected.Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to any person that suffers joint or muscle pain and has impaired mobility

Have previously utilised a TENS machine at my physio's practice which helped, so was interested to procure one for home use.Purchased the TENS Machine Premium Kit and very happy with how it works, especially the preset programs which made it easy to choose for specific targeting of trouble areas.Prompt service and delivery. I have been using this machine almost daily since it arrived and it's brilliant. 4 channels means 2 places on 2 arms, legs or joints as long as you don't mind using the same program. Pretty good battery life and since it comes with an AC adapter you can keep using it as long as you need.Not only would I strongly recommend it, I have had friends buy it on my recommendation and they are extremely happy with their purchase

The Tens MH8001 is a very good machine at what it is designed to do, but, .....several very simple modifications need to take place to make it an excellent unit.1. the lock button should work with a press, not have to wait for the auto lock to take effect2. the lock button should have a 3 second delay to unlock the screen stopping any inadvertent unlocking.3. The on button should just turn on, not delayed and to turn off there should be a 3 second delay stopping any inadvertent turning off.These simple changes would make this an excellent machine

Only given it 3 stars as there is no clear instruction on pad placement. I have no idea how to use the machine and too scared to put it on wrong. So haven't been able to even use it yet. But I'm sure it is great, just no info on pad placement, the booklet only shows the options on settings for each body part, not where to place the pads, or how in the instance of mine that has 4 lots of cords, what goes where.

The unit certainly does what it says on the box. Unfortunately, the instructions included are sparse and not very helpful from a user perspective. The booklets address basic controls and pad positioning but do not go into the how, the why or the usage. Also the descriptions for the pre-programs are vague and unhelpful.

The MH8001 is a step up from the TENS machines you can buy at the pharmacy. In addition to having 4 output channels instead of the usual single channel, it is also more powerful. It comes with a stack of built in programs for EMS and TENS, but you can also input your own bespoke programs if you wish. This latter facility isn't difficult to use, but you will need to undertake a fair bit of experimentation in order to work out how all the various parameters work together.

Bought 2 for some friends as I have had the same model for many years, they tried mine and loved it. Good service and quick postage and good communication.My model, MH8001B TENS Machine Kit, is not the cheapest out there but having had mine for many years and use it regularly I know it works and last's. My friends wanted the same one as they know it's got lots of programmes and is ultra reliable.

After using this TENS machine pro for a few days i will say that it is working awesome for me.My back was totally wrecked from car crush accident. I actually get relief from this pain using the TENS machine.They work and they work very well. Get the pro version i use up to 8 pads at once for my spine and lower back and neck.

Brought to replace a old Doctor Tens machine. This new one is modern but not as intense as my old machine. The so called back pad is not wide enough to cover the affected area. Small pads are exactly that. Really like the timer indicator letting you know how long you have to go on your treatment. Panel is clear and concise to read. No glasses needed. The beeper to let you know it's finished is good as well. The instructions seem ok. Units appearance is fine. Overall after a short period of using it seems ok. Longevity of the pads will be interesting. Unit looks robust enough. I would recommend this unit purely on the choice of upto four channels to use.
