I have been using Prograde SDXC cards for about a year and have found them to be 100% reliable. While I wouldn't recommend it... I accidently left one of these cards in a shirt pocket that went through the wash. I was devastated, as it held irreplaceable photos taken on a recent trip to France. Against all hope, I tried reading and downloading the files, IT STILL WORKED! Thank God and thank Prograde.

A long time customer of Prograde products. These SD cards are one of the most reliable cards backed by lifetime warranty. I have multiple cards in rotation and have not had a single dropped frame ever. Highly recommend.

If you need a little extra data about how your card's health is and maybe a clue about when it's time to replace it, buy these. I would say this is a must for a professional shooter. Prograde cards and prograde readers (used together) will let you do this.

I have made the switch to all ProGrade Digital memory cards now. Combined with the ProGrade Dual card slot reader I can download a full day of shooting sports in a fraction of the time my old set up took. I can now even read two cards at once which is awesome because I will shoot 2-3 cameras per game and have several cards to read each night. Big returns for a small investment.
My Sony bodies don't like some cards, especially Lexar, but I've never had an issue with these ProGrades. They are fast enough for 4k video recording with no hang ups, and plenty fast for most wildlife shooting (I rarely tap out my buffer anyway, but when I do, it clears quickly). Durable, functional at low temps (I've shot these at -20 F) and a great price for this spec. Highly recommended.
I thought I would try ProGrade as an alternative to the expensive Sony SD cards for my A7R cameras. Big mistake. On the 3rd use of the card I shot 600 photos. No apparent problems until I got home and tried to import them onto the PC. Copied a few files then the process stopped with a media error. Tried to eject and then reinsert the card and the PC could not even detect a file system (asking if I want to format the card). Yikes. I downloaded the expensive ProGrade recovery tool and it could find all the files. Sony offers a media recovery tool for free! I never had any problems with Sony media cards. Never. Why trust this brand? Why trust a company that does not at least provide the recovery tool for free to owners of their cards? Back it goes for a refund.
So far, so good. Matt Meisenheimer recommended Prograde on a Backcountry Journey's trip and he was right. My previous Prograde SD card is still going strong. Other brands, and I'm looking at you, Sony, have had problems. The lock slide fell out of one. The casing of two others split off bits and now they won't go into my Sony cameras.
First time user of Pro Grade SD cards. These perform flawlessly in my Sony A7 IV. Since I take primarily photos and a little video, the V60 is plenty fast for my application and the results are terrific. I'll be using the Pro Grade product for my future photography needs.
I chose these cards because the price at the time was very competitive, but when it comes to SD cards, there are three important questions: speed rating, authenticity, and credibility. They have the rating I need, and I trust B&H to sell me non-counterfeit products ever time, but I had to look up the brand since I hadn't heard of it. The photo websites I frequent report that the company is formed by talent from Lexar and Sandisk, which is all the bona fides I need. And I haven't been disappointed.
This is my second set of these exact same cards. I use them in pairs for simultaneous backup of both stills and video on my Fujifilm GFX 50S and X-H1 and have never had an issue with them. With a v60 rating, they’re fast enough for everything I do and have never become a bottleneck, even on the GFX with its large, uncompressed RAW files or on the X-H1 when shooting 4K. And someday, if I ever do run into a card issue, I’m confident ProGrade will be there to sort it out for me.Finally, if you don’t need the extra speed provided by the platinum series cards, the gold series are excellent value. I would rather save money than have speed I can’t use and apply the funds toward bi-annual card replacement/cycling to reduce the chances of card failure.
