It’s too soon for me to review these cards. They were not dead out of the box, which is a good thing! Time will tell about the longevity of the product. Sorry can’t recommend these yet. Web site was great however.

Tried both cards in Nikon Z6ii, both came up with errors, thought fair enough 650gb cards don’t come up as recommended on Nikon site.Just tried both cards in my new Nikon Z9, both cards came up with errors. They are on the recommended/compatible cards for Z9.I will be sending both cards back to ProGrade

I use the ProGrade CFexpressâ„¢ Type B 2.0 Memory Card (Cobalt) 1700 in my Nikon Z9 and Nikon Z8 and am very happy with the performance. The memory cards from ProGrade are expensive, but I appreciate their quality. The fact that I have to order the memory cards in the US is not a problem, because the ordering and shipping process works perfectly.

Overall, this is a terrific memory and it is plenty fast for demanding high-speed photography and video. It will - as advised - get pretty hot to the touch, but this seems to be within the specification and I’ve seen no problems with this. So far, no data flaws or read/write issues at all, so my experience has been great.
The overall experience using the card has been good, noting it has only been a few weeks in use. No issues at this stage. I wish they weren’t so expensive though. I guess you get what you pay for here.
Pros:High performance.Great temperature management and it doesn't overheat like CFExpress B cards made by other brands.I saw a review regarding compatibility issues with the SanDisk PRO-READER CFexpress card reader. However, it's working fine for me. Do note that firmware updates still requires card readers made by ProGrade Digital themselves.It also works with older DSLRs such as the Nikon D850 with Firmware Version 1.20 or higher.Cons:Warranty is a lot shorter than the competitors.The "case" it came with is similar to an egg carton cardboard and it may not last long in my camera bag.
With the recent introduction of the Nikon Z9, I needed some cards that would write the data that the camera was generating without hesitation. With large RAW files flowing at 20 frames per second, it was important that the card keep up with the flow of images being generated. These ProGrade Cobalts do just that. And just as important, they read quickly when it’s time to ingest the files for editing. Again, the Cobalts come through beautifully. A perfect match for the Z9!
I have the 165gb cfexpress card type B (R 1700/ W 1500) and it's woefully slow at a write speed on my computer of 500gb's. I've spent a lot of money on the components of my computer and doubt that's the problem. I've tried calling support many, many times and I've sent support a very detailed email and I have never heard from anyone. I do not recommend this company or product.
The Nikon Z6 II rejected the card. It took a roundabout way of formatting on the Mac, using ProGrade Refresh, then formatting in the camera to get it to work. Testing a few shots so far to see how it performs. No problem with the smaller memory sizes at all previously, so I hope this one works as well.
Reliable, fast and meets specifications. Excellent card with a Nikon Z9 or Nikon D850 (updated firmware). Meets specs and expectations. Bought more, and all great. Good metal wrapper.
