After several years of successfully using the ProGrade Digital CF Express Type B 2.0 card in my Nikon D500, I purchased a Nikon Z8. I was concerned that shooting RAW with an FX crop at faster frame rates might be a problem, especially for the longer bursts required for Bird In Flight photos. The 4.0 card handled my longest bursts without any problems.I highly recommend this card.

I photograph birds for ID. I use a Z9 Raw format at 20 fps. Primary lens Z800pf.Fast and no buffer issues.Very fast to download to my mac studio using the new ProGrade CFexpress Type B single-slot USB4.0 card reader.
So far so good in my Nikon D5 so, I just ordered another 2pack for my Nikon Z9! I'll let you know more about the stills & 4k Video I'll shoot with them in another Review!ThanksSteve K. Phoenix AZ
I recently purchased the Canon 5RC. The price that I paid for the Prograde 512gb CFexpress memory card was very reasonable.
I'm replacing Sony Tough 125 GB CFexpress cards with these bad boys, and although my two Nikon Z9 cameras don't have v4.0 interfaces, the brute processing power of the ProGrade cards is apparent when you clip off hundreds of shots side-by-side at the same 1/2000ths of a second shutter speed and an f/1.2 lens mounted on each of the cameras while shooting lossless RAW/NEF files pared for mirroring within each camera. Literally, side-by-side tests running in tandem and the Sony cards start chugging after a few seconds, whereas the ProGrade card just keep going and going and going... These are definite keepers. Can't wait to see how they actually perform once pro cameras step up to CFexpress 4.0.
I have an ASUS WS WRX workstation which has USB4 ports (40Gbps). If you buy the new ProGrade USB4 CF Express reader this card is a speed demon. I was able to do a sustain read on the card at 1.8GB/s. I also have the older ProGrade USB3 Gen 2 card reader and on a USB3 Gen2 port the card transferred at 760MB/s. That is less than half the speed. So if you want max speed on transfer to your computer you need a USB4 port and a USB4 card reader
I have a Nikon Z8 that I'm using for photography, but also for shooting 4K video, which requires a large amount of space, as well as speed. TheProGrade Digital 1TB CFexpress 4.0 Type B Gold Memory Card delivers both capacity and speed and for a great price!
I was using pairs of Sony TOUGH G Series CFexpress cards in a backup configurations in my Nikon Z9 cameras and I was always happy with buffer performance, given that I'm not a sports or BIF shooter, so I tend not to ever max out the buffer, but after getting these cards and running some what if tests, I was absolutely surprised how much these cards smoked the Sonys -- and I do mean by a LOT. Absolutely wow is all that I can say. Very, very, very happy with this purchase over the past 40 shoots.
