Suffering from insomnia and severe depression since being led to believe that her son has been in a catatonic state since birth, Evelyn (Emily Fradenburgh) almost topples off the edge when she discovers he is to be euthanised against her consent. Fate intervenes in the form of Ethan (Peter Christian Hansen), an ex-military officer carrying an experience similar to her own. Together they become unwitting fugitives as they attempt to uncover the truth behind an ever-growing plot possibly involving thousands of children around the world. When they discover that Government Agents, led by the malicious and power hungry David Roth (Mike Dopud), are closing in on them, it becomes clear that not only are they on the right path but are also in grave danger.
