After a thorough comparison with other brands on the market I purchased the Projecta EV charging cable. The Type 2 connectors and the flexible heavy duty cable are of excellent quality. The handles are very comfortable to hold and there is a good strain relief for the cable. As a bonus, there is also a high quality fabric covered rigid case included with plenty of space to store your cable. Would highly recommend this product.
The cable seems to do what it claims to do. It is sturdy and easy to use, and comes in a handy carrying case. However, Supercheap Auto stated om its website that it comes with a 5 year warranty, but when opening the packaging it states that it has only a one year warranty. I emailed Supercheap Auto asking them to confirm the 5 year warranty, but heard nothing back from them (having previously had a cable from another supplier fail, the warranty was an important factor in my purchasing decision).
Does that it is meant too. EV is only rated to charge at 10.5kw on AC but got 11.1kw.
It works on a range of chargers. I like the convenient carry case.
