This is a really nice helmet. You can spend twice the amount of money on a helmet and not get better quality than this. It fits great and it has a sweat liner over the pads which I wasn't expecting. The only thing I'd warn you about it the color. I ordered a light blue helmet and I got a dark blue one. I like the dark blue better, so I'm totally okay with that. If you're looking for an affordable helmet that still offers great comfort and protection, I'd recommend this one.

My son loves this helmet, he is almost 13 and he and his twin each got these helmets. From EVO we ordered the green one and the color is very cool, nice little rasta colors on the straps. We would have ordered both their helmets from EVO but they didn't have the color his twin wanted in stock. Both my boys think their helmets are super comfortable and love that air flows through the holes on top! We would definitely purchase these helmets again!

My fiance and I got back into rollerbladeing recently and we thought it would be wise to get helmets. Neither of us have owned a helmet in about 15 years but when i used to skateboard in highschool the only thing id wear was a Protec so we went with that. Both of them are super comfortable and sleek since they don't have the "certified" styrofoam liner. Protecs saved my head a few times in highschool and my confidence in the new ones remain because the quality's the same if not better now.

This is my sons skate helmet. Since the whole world is closed we decided to take a nice family bike ride down a few roads (We live off in the country). I usually don't ride a bike in fact a had to borrow my sons old bike so needless to say i had no helmet. Since everyone else including dad had a helmet i felt a bit delinquent with out one. So when i saw my sons skate helmet I figured close enough. It has a super nice soft fit way better than I remember my bike helmet fitting 30 years ago. The venting was ok bike helmets are better. It stayed put and saved me a bruise when i hit a low hanging branch with it. It gets the job done.
Perfect helmet for some protection, being not a certified helmet it might not be for everyone but for me being from the old school & never really wearing a helmet growing up it's just what I was looking for! It is much smaller & lighter and breathes really well. The head band does a good job on keeping sweat from dripping in your eyes. It being much smaller than the certified helmets it looks good on your melon also, not that big mushroom head that looks a little silly to me.
I used this helmet probably two times since I've gotten it.( 6 days ago) It's a basic helmet nothing to write home about but I got it for a good price. I couldn't tell you if it would protect me during a crash because I have not hit my head with it. But it does have hard foam and soft foam inside of the helmet with a plastic shell. I got mine in matte red which looks really nice I think. I measured my head before getting it and I believe it is a little big. Size large.
I have worn a protec for EVER. recently i was out on a leisurely ride with my girlfriend. Since she is a trauma nurse we do the helmet thing. After a water break she was examining my helmet and told me it was not certified and needed replaced. She could not even believe that you can still buy this helmet. She has since bought me a certified helmet but i am keeping this one for when she is gone
Love how light this helmet is but still feels snug and sturdy. I got a large at first but sent it back for a medium, much better fit. I got the green version with the rasta colors on the strap, already got a few compliments from strangers on that in the first few days wearing it! It's the little things....All in all, happy to protect my dome and look sharp simultaneously.
The wife decided we should wear helmets while biking and skiing and asked me to buy some. She liked the style of the protec. I got her a certified (since i care about her head) in pink and me a non certified (since i am near brain dead anyhow) in silver. The certifed feels very rigid and strong where as the class is soft. The non certified is great for small bumps but in a real fall i am not sure how much it would help. The classic is very comfortable but the tradeoff is the potential for a serious brain ingury.

Last week my daughter was going out for a ride and asked if i would join her. As we were heading out i saw an old pro-tec helmet covered in dust sitting on the shelf in my boyfriends garage (with some inline skates) and figured i should wear it, since i make my daughter wear one, and as it is doing no one any good just sitting there. I put it on and was absolutely blown away at how easy it was to adjust. Throughout the ride it was so light and airy i kept forgetting it was on and it stayed put perfectly. I am glad i gave it a try and my daughter was happy mom had a helmet too .
