This guitar is not great for the money, it's just great. I decided to give this a try since the SE's were one sale. It's everything I was hoping to get out of a guitar this price plus some. I don't think you can get a better guitar for the money right now. I had an SE custom 24 not long after they first released them a little over a decade ago. It was good but nothing like these current SE models. For comparison I have a Suhr Alt T and Cory Wong signature strat. I've also owned some other nice guitars in the past as well.

I play guitar since 30 years ago, I'm a Fender/Ibanez user but PRS guitars are really amazing, great value for the price and musically a fantastic instrument, I love the sound and versatility, those pickups allows a big sound spectrum from clean sound to high distortion without lose its own "personality", you can´t go wrong with this SE Custom 24-08, it's a "most have" for your guitar arsenal. The 2 toggles works clean and fantastic. Just 2 things to complain, 1. Plastic nut and 2. Needs some adjustments. Includes a gig bag which is a nice touch. debes tener

I have owned many high quality guitars from American Fenders to USA Gibson Les Paul's and the list goes on. I have to say this Guitar's Quality and craftmanship not to mention excellent tone and natural sustain have completely blown me away. I have been playing guitar for over 40 years am very picky to say the least. The pickups are very good and are powerful so I have to drop the volume back a little in humbucker mode which is fine with me. This thing is a tone monster with many options.If you are on the fence and not sure about picking up one of these guitars let me tell ya, you will not be sorry. I can't put this thing down.

I was not expecting to walk out with this guitar, but wow! The wide thin neck is the most comfortable I've experienced in 15 years of playing. The sound is amazing. Highly recommend this one
Bought this guitar a couple days ago and I am really loving it a lot. I'm actually liking it more than my other guitars. I really like the wide thin neck and the pickups sound nice and full. The setup was was really good I just had to tweak it just a little. It is also very comfortable to play I'm loving it.
I am amazed at the quality, playability, and aesthetics of this guitar. I bought the Eriza color and have been ignoring my Charvels lately. My cons would be plastic nut, non-locking tuners, and the lack of a satin finish on the neck. So, in a few weeks I will replace the nut and install the PRS locking tuners, and use some double zero sand paper on the neck.
Pretty disappointed at this juncture. It was shipped from the Sunnyvale CA store and what a lack of care. It was placed in the soft side case it comes with and placed in a box with little to no protection. No tremolo and "0" paperwork. To top it of the low E vibrates badly on neck.
