The practical bias tape formers from Prym enable perfect shaping of any length of bias tape for edging any fabric edges or even patchwork quilts. By cutting the fabric strips at an angle of 45 degrees to the grain of the fabric, the bias tape becomes elastic and can also be worked perfectly in curves. Once the fabric strips have been cut and joined together, the fabric is inserted into the wide opening of the bias tape former and pulled through. On the flat side of the useful helper, the perfectly folded bias strip can be pulled out and smoothed directly with the iron. This way, the bias tape succeeds quickly and reliably and can simply be rolled up for further use.
