This will eventually mess up and misinput, misconnect after extensive use. Honestly though as long as you dont pay 45$ or more to replace it new, it is faithful. The D pad should have been circular more like the Saturn model 2 but within time you may or may not be able to wear it in a little bit looser but it is responsive and almost perfect inputs/mapping. The 6 buttons press fine and responsive and you can delegate your shoulder buttons with the flick of a switch. Just like with the platforms its supports PS3, PS4 and PC with x input natively. It is a near perfect fight pad. Most preferred above the rest for the ps4!

I've given it 2 months playing a Lot of Fighting games. But the D Pad just isn't reliable enough. I don't use Analogue Sticks, but I'd guess if you do, than the pad might work better for you

The build design is excellent, very robust. I'm not a huge fan of how rigid the buttons and D-pad; I also use the Madcatz xbox alternative and much prefer the dpad/button feel on that even if the controller itself feels a bit tackier Depending on how you hold it the jutting out shoulder buttons can irritate fingers on your left hand. I guess if you have strong fingers this is a perfect controller. otherwise i'd say go for the madcatz (tacky though it is, it hasn't broken functionally with me for over a few years now)

The pad is light and very responsive, the eight way directional gate gives you awesome feel for directional inputs and the buttons have nice clicky microswitches. It has a nice old school feel to it, like a Sega Saturn controller but with way more customisable options. The only unknown is durability, ie how long will it last before drift becomes an issue. At the moment though, I'm loving it
It's a great controller to play classic games from the Xbox store. All the 2d arcade classics of yesteryear plays better with proper d pad than a controller with analog sticks. Street Fighter 2 plays like a dream.
I love this controller because of its perfect button layout for Street Fighter games. That's the onIy reason I kept buying this and I haven't found an alternative yet. Bonus points for the long cord. But for King of Fighters, a standard PS4 controller is enough. The hate part is its inconsistency. You either get a stiff or super sensitive controller. They always start OK. Then after few weeks it gets stupid--it doesn't respond correctly, like it has its own mind and set you up to lose every round. Regardless where its from OR price--from $40's-$80 they're all the same. You'll end up replacing them right away. HORIble!
The controller works flawlessly with his Linux Mint 18.2 Sonya system; Plug-n-Play. So far it works with the following emulators: FCEUX, Kega Fusion, PCSX, and ZSNES; he just had to map the buttons. It does work with MAME, but he had to mess with it; MAME kept assigning two keys to one button, but once he figured that out it wasn't too much trouble to fix the issue.
The controller is comfortable to hold. It has some nice bulk to it. - The face buttons don't feel premium, but they feel good enough and are responsive.
This is a very good fighting game pad overall. I used this pad for 3 fighting games: Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, Tekken 7 and Street fighter 5. Dpad feels heavier compared to Dualshock 4 nevertheless feels much more solid. It feels quite different to DS4 Dpad but if you get used to it, it feels really good. The buttons feel really solid too and are as light as DS4 buttons. The all 4 trigger buttons dont use string like DS4 LR1 buttons so that you can directly feel whether the button is in pressed state or not. The only disadvantage of this controller is that it feels quite unconfortable if you put your thumbs on main buttons, your second fingers on LR1 button and rest of your fingers under the handles. If you are used to hold your Pad like this, just simply lay your second fingers on LR2 buttons and change your inputs for LR1 to LR2. In that way it will feel comfortable even with that grip method. I recommend this for all fighting game player who looks for the substitution of their DS4 and dont want to buy an expensive fighting stick.
