Extremely comfortable, but needs a few round to be broken in. I would not suggest walking 18 in these right away. Have worn a few times while riding and they felt great. Only downside(if I would even call it that) would be that the shoes themselves run big. I read the comments that said they run about a 1/2 size big. I usually wear a 10, which is what I initially ordered. They were HUGE. I ended up ordering a 9 instead and they fit like a glove.

Let me start by saying I love Puma products - I have a closet full of Puma shirts that fit and look great. I've had their shoes in the past and loved them and based on the positive reviews of these, I'm hoping that this shoe is just an anomaly for me. I took the advice of the reviews and ordered 1/2 size smaller (9.5 medium) and the size was perfect, so that's not the issue. So far I've worn them for a round and half of walking - it would have been 2 rounds but I could only play 9 the second time because my feet were killing me! The pain was mostly in the balls of my feet which I thought was pretty strange, but it was so bad and the pain lasted several days. I typically walk 18 holes 4 days a week and have never experienced this kind of pain with any other shoe. ... MoreLet me start by saying I love Puma products - I have a closet full of Puma shirts that fit and look great. I'll gladly try another pair of Puma shoes - I think they make a great product and the styling is awesome, but this pair simply didn't work for me.

Best golf shoes for me yet

I needed a new pair of spikeless golf shoes. What better place to go than PGA Superstore for their huge selection? I found the Puma Ignite Fasten8 Disc shoes. I liked the color combination and the BOA tightening system. Unfortunately, they didn't have them in stock in my size, so I ordered online. That system was great; easy to navigate the website and order the shoes and I had them in two days. I have always been a FootJoy guy but these shoes are among the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever worn. Two thumbs up, PGA Superstore, for your service and delivery!

Comfortable, seems waterproof, good value
10 November 2022

These are my first spikeless shoes. They are very comfortable and lightweight. They are definitely more comfortable to walk 18 in than spikes. The side straps hold your foot in place and keep you from sliding around like some other all-mesh shoes. Being able to drive to and from the course in them is an added bonus. I played on a wet course the day after rain and the traction was good. Not as good as spikes, but good. My feet stayed dry, but I do wonder how the waterproof mesh will hold up in actual rain. These Pumas definitely run a full size large so order accordingly. I wear a wide 13.5 to 14 and got the wide 13 and still have plenty of toe room in the front.

Definitely runs big
17 March 2023

I wear a 12 normally maybe 11.5. I ordered these in 11.5 and they are a full size bigger than what I would wear. Even an 11 might have been a little big. I never wore them to play in before returning them. They feel like you’re strapping yourself in to a snowboarding shoe almost. Very ridged very stable. I was looking for something a little more minimalist. Seems like it would be a good shoe, just not my vibe.

Greatest Pair of Golf Shoes I have ever worn
5 October 2023

These shoes are so comfortable that when I get dressed to go play golf I put them on before I leave. I get into the car & drive to the store to get some breakfast & coffee then I drive to the course arriving about 45 minutes to 1 hour before my tee time to practice. After my round I wear them home & sometime don't take them off for a couple more hours. I have worn he same pair for 2 years now & they are still the same. However they do loosen up every couple of holes & I have to retighten them but I had that same issue with laces & these are much easier to retighten while playing.I pray that Puma never stops making this shoe.

Ingenious Idea and Super Comfy

These shoes are super comfortable and the mechanism to tie the shoe is absolutely fabulous. You turn a knob and the shoes tighteni each turn until you achieve the proper snugness. Turn the knob the other way and it releases. This is the first pair of shoes I don't have to re-tie during my rounds like regular lace shoes which always loosen up during play. Love them.

Nice looks, excellent grip, but durability is lacking
12 April 2023

I really like the style of these, they’ve got excellent grip and support on a wide variety of surfaces, and they’re comfortable enough to wear every day if you want to. Also, the disc fastener is a really cool concept, and makes them super quick and convenient to take on and off.I do have a couple of complaints though. First, they run very short, and the toe tapers down more than any shoe I’ve worn before, golf shoe or not. So it’s a bit harder to estimate what size will fit best.Second, as nice as the build quality seems on first glance, they show wear a lot faster than I’d expect. The black plastic parts on the sides, for example, are apparently just painted black, and where they’ve been scuffed a little there’s already visible white plastic underneath. Also, when I bought them I could set the disc tightness I wanted and they’d stay there all day, whereas now I have to readjust them several times a day because they’ll sometimes pop loose on their own. And I’ve only had these for about 3 months. Also, the waterproofing is very nice, but definitely comes at the expense of breathability. So even though my feet don’t get wet from puddles or wet grass anymore, they do get pretty sweaty in these.

Perfect Walking Shoe
21 March 2022

I've done some early Spring walking in them...super comfortable. The disc (shoe tightener) is easy to use and creates a nice fit around my entire foot. I've not had any problems with it loosening. Stability is similar to most golf shoes I've worn. The sole is sufficient to keep traction on the turf while being gentle on the greens - so unless you're a billy goat needing to spend more time on the awkward slope of a hill, they'll be perfect for your game. Like many waterproof/water-resistant shoes, you should expect they'll keep your feet warm. That's a positive when it's really cold. When it's crazy hot, you'll be wishing for more breathable mesh. It's a trade off that is worth it. Shoe is really nice looking too with clean look. The white sides of the sole will get ... MoreI've done some early Spring walking in them...super comfortable. Solid shoe at a Great Price
28 August 2023

First timer with Puma, but so far, so good. I like the appearance and fit, and the price (on sale under $50) was too good to pass up. I walk 3-4 rounds a week, so comfort is essential, and this shoe has thus far performed admirably. This is my first experience with the Dial BOA system, and while its very convenient, my one (minor) complaint is that its hard to cinch the shoes as tightly as I would like. Still, this was too good a deal to pass up, and this shoe makes an excellent complement to my other pair of walking shoes. 1-year Waterproof guarantee, and so far (appx 15 rounds of use) no issues or concerns.Good shoe at a great price!
