The shoes I received were a different build then what is pictured. The insides are straight leather and with a leather backed tongue. On a nice 70 degree day my feet get quite warm in them. Look closely at the online photo and you'll see its supposed to be cloth. While the shoes look great I feel as though the shoes they sent are old stock since I ordered a size 14. As a matter of fact I purchased them in 10/18 and the manufacturer label says 07 16 I'm sure that's the DOM. I contacted customer service and they said, "How the item was received is how the item is constructed." BOGUS! I only kept them since they were under $40

I was looking for a pair of suitable sneakers for breakdancing footwork and heard great stories about the Puma Suede Classics. So I order these 1/2 shoe size larger than my usual in red/black/yellow with the free shipping offer. They arrived on the 5th business day (ordered Sunday, processed & shipped Monday, delivered Friday afternoon). Each sneaker had 2 laces (flat black and fat grey) which was nice, but I wanted to accessorize with something more colorful and went out to buy Puma's "fluro orange" flat laces at a nearby Puma store. The fit is super comfortable all around, though my feet are a little wider at the toes so the somewhat narrow toebox can inhibit your toes from completely spreading. No big deal. The rubber tongue is flexible and wide so the Suedes are loose on the top of the foot (which is excellent. Shoes that are too tight can cause top of the foot pain called extensor tendonitis and that is bad to have). So far these sneakers have been comfortable to dance in and do footwork, allowing me to practice hours at a time with no pain or injury. However BREAK THEM IN WITH COMFORTABLE SOCKS FIRST. I made the mistake of immediately going for a long walk in low-cut socks and my heels got rubbed pretty badly. Just make sure to wear socks that are long enough to cover and protect your heels until you break these in.In summary:You can't go wrong with suede sneakers.Excellent fit.Affordable.Good shipping time.Tips:Wear comfortable socks until they're broken in.Accessorize it your style with colorful laces!Like all shoes, take good care of them and they will take good care of you!I will definitely buy more of these Suede Classics in other color combinations. They're very fun and stylish almost anywhere I go.

Needed a shoe that was soft on the feet because I move around a lot at work among other things. This is one of the few shoes where I don't need to add a set Dr Scholls to the insides. If that isn't a great example of the level of comfort that you get, I don't know what else to tell you.

Disappointed in Puma
10 January 2014

I own Puma sneakers almost exclusively. I currently have 5 pair.I decided to get a pair of the Suedes for work to replace an old pair of sneakers.I bought them originally from another website but they were irregular and unwearable due to a big lump in the sole of the right shoe so I returned them.Eventually I saw a great deal on Puma's website so I tried again. This time they were worse than the original pair I bought. BOTH the left and right shoe had irregularities that made them not just uncomfortable, but painful to wear. The right shoe had a crease in the tongue that pressed up against the top of your foot right against the bone. You can pull on the tongue every 5 minutes of your life to straighten it out but it doesn't matter because the crease just ... MoreI own Puma sneakers almost exclusively. You can pull on the tongue every 5 minutes of your life to straighten it out but it doesn't matter because the crease just comes right back within minutes. The left shoe is narrower up front than the right shoe and seems to actually have a raised lump right along the edge so it crushes your little toe.I wore them for a couple weeks constantly having to play with the tongue and everything just hoping they needed to be broken in but it never happened. Now I can't return them because I've worn them for weeks so I wear them to work but the only way I can wear them without pain is to wear them so loose I am basically stepping out of them when I walk. The laces can't be pulled tight at all. As a matter of fact, they look ridiculous this way.Bottom line is they are very disappointing sneakers. My guess is Puma has seen what a big seller they are since they became trendy and they just mass produce them now, throwing them together as quickly as possible, so the quality has suffered greatly.I wouldn't buy these again (obviously) and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone unless I really really disliked that person.

Good, but not as good as three years ago. Sad!!!
31 October 2019

So, Classic+ variants are my favorite casual shoes by far. While the current variant are good, the older versions used to have leather in the heel and tongue instead of the synthetic cloth now. A cost cutting measure, no doubt, and a definite downgrade that will be noticed by me, as I wear the heel especially hard. This does not impact the slightly more expensive color block versions, just the Classic+. Sad!!! Please go back to the way it just recently was.

Misleading Color
7 September 2016

Great shoe. Fit right. Very comfortable. But I ordered the black suede with the WHITE stripe and got black with an "off" white or "ivory" stripe. I thought it was a defect, but customer service said it was the correct color and that if I look at the website pic I could see the difference. I used the zoom feature and except or a texture difference the stripe in the pic looked like the same color as the sole of the shoe. But when I looked at the shoe I was holding, the sole was that nice, bright white but the stripe was nowhere near it. It made the shoe look ridiculous. Bright white sole. Off white stripe. So I sent them back. Other than the color issue, no issues with the shoe. Just very disappointed in the color. I thought it was a misrepresentation. And I remember ... MoreGreat shoe. Fit right. Puma's for Life
27 May 2020

I have been wearing Puma since I was a kid. They are nice, comfortable and stylish. However, Puma has to do better with making the color of these classics as vibrant as the picture shown on the screen. The color was a little lighter. I had to buy a half size down, which is not a problem. These are Legendary sneakers. I love them still. The sneakers did not look bad they still looked nice and yes I still recommend them! Go for it!

Shoes were different sizes
3 April 2019

So I'll start this off by saying I've owned many pairs of Suedes and have always been happy. Wanting to make sure I got a legit pair I ordered off the Puma website. When I got the shoes I was happy, they looked great as usual, but upon wearing them I realized the left one felt smaller than the right one and actually looked slightly smaller, although both shoes are the same size according to the tag. Just to confirm my suspicion and not wanting to have to go through the hassle of a return I measured them and the left shoe is in fact around 1/8" shorter than the right shoe. So for now I'm not very happy but I'm going to give it another go and return this pair and purchase a new one. I love the Suedes and hopefully the quality is there with the next pair so I can leave ... MoreSo I'll start this off by saying I've owned many pairs of Suedes and have always been happy. Too narrow. What happened Puma?
22 January 2018

These are flagship shoes and they're absolutely narrow. How could you screw this up Puma? How? Firstly, I generally wear 10, but I had to increase the size to 10.5 to get the foot in the shoes. And once the feet are in you kinda like the style for couple of seconds. But then, you feel something uncomfortable, that's the size of the shoes because it's too narrow.I literally feel the sides of the shoes on my feet for each and every walk, which is annoying. I tried to wear it enough so the feeling goes away and I get used to it. I love the style, but but, too narrow. But, Nope. It won't so I am returning mine. Also, the colors of puma suede in the website and actual are quite different. I was returning anyway.P.S.
