Really good service from the chaps at start fitness. During 2022 I managed to loose 15kg down to 75kg for 189cm male...mainly through diet. 2023 is the year to improve my fitness...purchased the Puma Velicit Nitro 2 at a cracking price ...so I now have 3 pairs. Time to get on that treadmill. Good luck all with your own targets/programmes

I had done my research and loved the shoe I was using but after 700kms it was time for something new. I didn't fancy spending 200+ on the newest running shoe, so did some research and the puma came up in most sites as a really good neutral running shoe. It is very comfortable and wide enough for my big feet. I got a half size bugger as suggested and they fit perfect. Really good cushioning without feeling you are running on sand. I run around the 15km mark three or so times a week and these have no produced any foot or calf pain. I also love the colour, people can see you coming.

I own the Pegasus 39 and Reebok's Energy 4, all similar shoes for a similar price. Yet the Nitro 2's by Puma are the most comfortable, with a midsole that's bouncy, and a softy/stretchy upper. A premium feel and comfort, similar to shoes twice as expensive. They're a mix between New Balance's 1080 and Brooks Ghost.

PUMA:Base model for those committing to miles but latest spec and up to 30% less than equivalent other brands...Worth every penny and you may even be able to get them on offer. All level surfaces are at your mercy...Buy your usual trainer size and you can wear any thickness of sock (I wear padded technical trainer socks).Numerous colour(way)s available.Have fun!
Whilst they may not be the most cushioned, fastest, or best for every aspect of training, you actually only need these to do everything very well and they come in at a much lower price point! On top of this, they also seem to be much harder wearing than their equivalents in other ranges. If you buy these, I doubt you'll regret it.
I was a little apprehensive when purchasing the trainer having not run in any Puma’s before, but I needn’t have been. This is a great daily trainer, perhaps a little firm of you want to just run recovery and easy pace miles in them, but I like a daily trainer where you can pick up the pace now and then if you feel like it, in which case this shoes versatility covers that. It’s cushioned yet responsive to give you little bit of a pop in your step at faster paces. Well worth the money for the price sold at!!
Great all-around daily trainer. Foot feels super stable. Puma Grip is fantastic. And the foam is just right. Had to size down a half size compared to my Puma Deviate Nitro 2s and they run about 1/2 - 1 full size longer than Sauconys for my foot.
I'm almost exactly 125 miles into these and they are fantastic every day running shoes. The cushioning is really nice, the grip is exceptional and the quality is on point. If I had to name bad points the tongue feels a bit on the thin side and when you lace up a little tighter, you'll feel the laces through it. Also the collar feel a bit high so I was getting rubbing and pressure on both of my out ankles. The collar has worn in but the laces can't be done up firmly or at least not for me. I'd definitely recommend these.
My first Puma running shoes and have to say they did not disappoint! They are well constructed and nitro technology within provided the right amount of cushioning. The Puma running range is competitively priced already and I took advantage of the current sale so got them at a bargain price. Completely worth the money!
Really good every day shoe. Can’t beat the comfort and value that puma have put in this shoe. The only negative is that the coloured pumagrip outsole doesn’t last as long as the black version. That said, at the sale price of £50 per pair, it doesnt really matter! In my opinion, Puma are by far and away offering best value for money at the moment. Long May it continue!
