Of course they are getting a little dirty and there is some light abrasion (one dog likes to rub against a brick wall as she walks, and after walks when I toss the harnesses in a pile the velcro will stick to the fabric not just the other velcro side), but overall they still look great!EASY - My parents dog sit at times and they were so relieved when we switched to this harness because it is so much easier to put on than anything else.My only improvements are extremely minor and I only mention them here to balance an otherwise gushing review:I cut the tag off on the inside (I worried about it being a little scratchy, I would have preferred a flat-sewn/printed tag.)I removed the extra logo in the front (just seemed excessive).One time a dogwalker put the harness on upside down (but that's user error)I will absolutely buy this harness again for whatever reason!

We’ve had this harness for over a year, so, unfortunately, I can’t return it to Chewy. Our little dog is only 19 1/2 pounds. We use this only when she is in her car seat in the car, so it doesn’t receive any stress or pulling. We don’t use it to walk her. It stays in the car. I was about to take her for a ride this week and realized that the harness had come apart. The strap had completely frayed and popped apart. This could have been a very dangerous situation if I ever were actually involved in an accident and the strap didn’t hold our little girl in place in her seat.

Rowdy, our almost 9-lb. 11-month-old yorkie, now has 4 of these: yellow, teal, purple, and wine. His first two harnesses had to go over his head and he hated that. We're so glad we found this Puppia harness!!! I will say that the wine color is way darker than the online pic shows. We decided to also get the matching leashes and those just arrived yesterday. The D-rings on this harness are larger than most other harnesses, so it was a challenge to hook up the retractable leashes, as their claw ends are smaller. We managed to do it, though.We will say that these harnesses are VERY well-made and durable. You (and your pet) will be happy with the purchase!

I love this harness and have, in fact, purchased it numerous times as my puppies have grown. Well-stitched, no rough spots on the dog, easy to get the dog into and it's one of the only designs they can't slip out of. It also protects the fragile throat of dogs susceptible to a collapsing trachea since it doesn't put any pulling pressure on the throat area. As far as the design, the velcro strap is adjustable; however, the clip strap is not, which I think is a "fatal" flaw in this design and why I only give it 4 stars. My terrier mix dogs continue to outgrow these harnesses quickly when they could last much longer if I could just adjust the clip strap as they grow (there's still room left on the velcro strap to grow but it gets too tight at the snap clip area). All that being said, I still consider these harnesses one of the best designs for dogs that "back out" of other styles.
My dog is tiny (7lbs) and I've always struggled to find harnesses that fit him. This one is specifically for small dogs and puppies so I gave it a shot, and the medium fits him perfectly. His previous harness would pull on his neck and cause him to cough during walks, but this one fits lower on his chest so that's no longer an issue. The different colors have different prices for some reason but overall I'm happy with the fit as he seems much more comfortable in this harness than any of his other ones.
There’s a size issue with these harnesses. After reading other reviews I decided to go up a size on this harness. My puppy is a 9 month old toy poodle, weighing 6 pounds. She usually wears a XS.. I measured her & orders a small, giving her plenty of room by the measurements. It’s extremely tight on her. Besides that the quality was great & the price cheaper than other stores. I would not recommend it it only because of the sizing guide issues.
I'm not sure what is going on with the sizes of this harness. I have bought 3 different sizes for my 50ish lb beabull and none of them fit right. The large seemed like it would be for a small dog, so I bought the XXX large and it's a bit too big and he tries to wiggle out of it. I then bought the XX large and I can't even close the velcro it's so small. My dog is bulldog size in the chest and neck area and I had high hopes that the 3rd size would be a charm but no deal. We will stick with the XXX large and hope he doesn't escape it!
I really wanted to like this harness because the mesh material is actually good and breathable specially for hot summer months. However, when I ordered the 3L, it was huge. So I figured sizing down to a XXL would be the answer. It was way too small. There is a significant discrepancy in just one size up or one size down. I included a picture for reference. This is not chewy's fault. They been more than gracious about returning, refunding, re-ordering and refunding again. I think this manufacture of this particular harness is off their size and measurements.

Grey and black were sold out so I did red. I ordered the exact same harness, exact same size as last time. It came very quickly but unfortunately was much too small. I checked on chewy and when selecting red size medium, it shows 15.4inches, but then I noticed up top, the description says 13.9 inches. I tried black in a size large and the inches matched up in both places. Not sure why the red medium would be listed as two different sizes. The large red would be too large for him.
