Love this! Been using it for years. Not a fan of the travel size though. Not enough product you need the full shize version to get the full effect! It is expensive! But I bleach my hair mostly so I can't really gripe about having to spend extra on good hair products. Scent is super nice. You can smell it for days! I would recommend making sure you really really wash out all of the conditioner before you finish because it will give you a greasy head. And also blow dry most of your hair after. If not it gets waxy feeling and oily looking. But I guarantee you if you use it they way I do it will blow your mind. I have literal bleach blonde barbie hair all over and it looks do healthy and perfect that it could almost pass as a wig. Lol and of course that means a good ... MoreLove this! First off, I didn't even mind getting rid of the drug store brand after I used this stuff. Holy heavens to Betsy, it smells amazing! I've been sniffing my hair all day! My hair feels super soft, it's shiny and frizzy split ends are softer and less noticeable. This is after ONE wash y'all. I can't wait to see what it does after 6 months of use, combined with the other changes I'm making for healthier hair. Once I've used it more, I'll leave another updated review about how long the shampoo/conditioner has lasted and how it's helped my hair. I didn't have any close up before pics but I hope this review helps if you're considering buying. As of right now, I highly recommend this product!

Bad batch? So disappointed.

And how all that hard work on my hair, I feel like it’s ruined. I’m feeling very defeated by the hair loss. The very popular store I got this shampoo from has tons of reviews about their hair loss around the same time as when I purchased my bottle at the end of 2023. I didn’t think it could be my shampoo causing it to happen, so I felt crazy even thinking that. But when I saw so many reviews saying the same thing, I am absolutely mortified how many other people this happened to. I don’t see any similar reviews here, which is very odd to me when I see so many in other places.I’m a very healthy female in my 30s. I stay hydrated, take vitamins and supplements, and have no underlying medical conditions. I’ve never had hair loss issues before and I’ve been a big fan of my hydrate Pureology in the past. I don’t know if I got a bad batch that happened late fall, but I would recommend to proceed with caution and maybe try the hydrate before trying this one.

It's good but not great
19 April 2024

I've used this specific shampoo for a while now and noticed that my hair still felt dirty sometimes. I lnow you're supposed to shampoo your hair 2-3 times to truly cleanse it but for the cost of this bottle, you'd go through it alot more frequently. I decided to do my initial shampoo with Garnier's Pure Clean and follow up with this assuming it was less harsh. That's become my new routine. This shampoo certainly does maintain your hair's integrity but it does not thoroughly cleanse your hair so you'd have to use a deep cleansing shampoo to loosen whatever gunk is there before going in with this. It's great for keeping your hair long amd strong, not great for cleansing. I'm still using it though because my hair is definitely long and strong.

At first I searched through tiktok of best professional hair care that was sulfate free, this and that. I like how it has nan technology, you only need the little leaf size amount whixh is demonstrated on top of the bottle in your hand. I have super long hair I can sit on, with lots of blonde highlights and dark brown roots. At first this was a holy grail, it felt lightweight, my hair feel soft and free. Not weighed down and nothing coating like most products. However, I'm half way through the bottles and now I'm noticing my hair is getting a bit oiler every other day. Whixh is now something I'm going to target and have to spend extra £ on treating with detox shampoos etc. I feel my scalp has gotten used to this a bit too quickly and there's a build up of product ... MoreAt first I searched through tiktok of best professional hair care that was sulfate free, this and that. Makes My Thin Aging Hair Shine
6 July 2024

I don't understand all of these terrible reviews. I have been using the strength cure pureology for about a year now. I am 52 y/o with a whole host of medical conditions. I am on disability and this is the only thing I splurge on for myself to make me feel like I'm still a normal woman. I no longer even wear makeup because most days it's just too painful for me to even put it on. So I don't understand why so many people have issues with this shampoo. A comb literally feels like razor blades going across my scalp but this shampoo has never given me any issues. I guess everyone is just different. I love it and it makes me and my hair feel good.

Not the greatest; just ok

I have fine, somewhat thin, professionally colored hair that is a deep "cherry cola" hue. My scalp is on the oily side. Since I invested so much into coloring my hair, I wanted a shampoo/conditioning routine that would help me retain my color, protect and keep it healthy, so I bought the Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo along with the Conditioner. I use a scalp scrub first, and this shampoo seems to cleanse well. The fragrance is pleasant but not overwhelming. After nearly 6 weeks, I don't see much color fade except at my roots. Since using this shampoo a few times, I seem to have a little less breakage. My major disappointment is that my scalp doesn't feel clean after just a couple days -- it gets itchy and my roots feel oily -- and I have been air drying my hair ... MoreI have fine, somewhat thin, professionally colored hair that is a deep "cherry cola" hue. I'm kicking myself for buying the value size because maybe there's another high-quality shampoo out there that would perform better.

Worth It
3 August 2024

I could feel the difference in my hair after the first wash with this shampoo and conditioner! My hair is naturally curly (3a-ish), fine-medium texture, medium density, color treated. My scalp tends to get oily/flaky while my lengths get dry, so finding the right combination of shampoo and conditioner can be tough for me. Often when I find something that properly moisturizes, it leaves my roots greasy. Not this one! This cleans my hair well (with a small amount), and doesn't weigh it down or leave me with a greasy/irritated scalp. The matching conditioner is awesome too. And the shine! My hair has never looked or felt healthier. It's worth its price.
