My dog has been having digestive issues and this wet food has been a great help in making the dry food go down more easily. The dog seems to enjoy the taste.

My dog was really sick and was throwing everything up every meal all 50 or more different foods. This food is the only thing that she can keep down without any stomach or bowel irritation. It is saving her life. Thank you

Great Product!

I will definitely purchase this product again
14 November 2021

My dog has Inflammatory Bowel Disease and has problems digesting animal protein. He needs to eat a special hydrolyzed protein diet. Depending on availability of the product, I will purchase either Purina or Royal Canin. Recently I was unable to get the food and Petflow came through for me and was able to fill the prescription for the canned Purina. My Dog loves the hydrolyzed Purina canned. Thanks Purina for a great product!

If Roxie the Mikey of the doggie Wheaties world can tolerate it, other furrbutts should have no problems

Our dog has EPI and I believe undiagnosed Crohns since there doesn't seem to be a vet in this state willing to entertain the possibility. The point is her GI issues are off the charts. We were a bit apprehensive about this food since her last was soy based but the company's supply chain issues made it necessary to explore alternatives of which this was not the first. It's a firmer consistency than some hydrolyzed brands but not really a strong odor like others. We very SLOWLY introduced it into her diet. She had no GI upset which was an absolute miracle. We're very happy with this food and the company that spends a lot on research and testing for their products.

Teddy is on a strict diet following pancreatitis, and we've found he enjoys the hydrolyzed wet food as part of mixing up his usual bland diet!

May Not be working for IBD

Makes my Maltese extremely gassy and gives him an extended stomach. Stools are just mush. I won’t know if he is able to absorb the nutrients from this food until his next blood test, but if it is running through him so quickly, it doesn’t seem like a good sign.

Not the best experience
28 July 2022

My Vet recommended this canned dog for their sensitive stomach, they got sick, loose stool, upset stomach and it made their allergies 10 times worse.Did not have a good experience, I hope Petco will accept a return.

Purina Pro Plan HA wet dog food
1 May 2022

My dog is a very picky eater and often misses one or two meals. Since adding Purina HA, he immediately follows me to his food dish and eats it immediately. He has not skipped one meal since starting it. The only negative aspects are that it is very expensive and the consistency makes it hard to get out of the can and chop up in the food bowl.

The Good and the Bad

My dog's veterinarian prescribed this food due to a bout of chronic vomiting. The good: his vomiting ceased the day I began feeding him this diet. He likes the food very much. The bad: While the vomiting did not return, at day 11 he began to experience diarrhea. Of all the gastrointestinal issues he has had over his life, diarrhea was never one of them.I've since learned that hydrolyzed diets can induce something called hypoosmotic diarrhea. When I began feeding him this diet the first things that happened is he began to poop more both in number and volume.
