Pyrex 1 L Mixing Bowl

Durability is not yet known, and I don't intend to smash one to check the fracture characteristics, but the thin and elastic bowl resembles laboratory glassware and is excellent in use, as well as beautiful. I remain a fan of French glassware.

Just what i wanted. I have had a similar bowl for many years and it had started going very milky as the inside glaze had all disappeared and I just wanted a small pyrex bowl as they are so handy in size for mixing a small amount of cake or yorkshire pud mix or even whipping a cream or eggs and they go in the dishwasher, microwave and they can be used for boiling my puds etc. This was a good price and it arrived very quickly and has been used every day since it arrived. Great addition to my kitchen. This bowl gets used frequently for everything. I like that it is not too heavy and sits firmly on the counter

Great bowl for the price

I needed a small bowl that I could put in the microwave and see what was happening to the contents. This bowl does everything I need. The only drawback, which is minor, is that the raised word PYREX is on the inside of the bottom of the bowl and scrapes noisily if I stir things with a metal spoon.

Great quality, as expected from Pyrex. Oven proof, dishwasher safe. Hope it lasts as long as my existing Pyrex bowl, which is over 45 years old and still going strong!

It's a Pyrex bowl. Unless you've just touched down on planet Earth you'll know what thatrans; tough, microwave & dishwasher proof. Everyone with an inkling of how to feed themselves should own one. The rest of you should live with your Mum.

May contain traces of nuts and sesame? Really?

I acknowledge it depends on the ingredients but seriously Ocado, This product is flagged as Food allergies and intolerances selected: Peanut, Sesame, Tree Nut. If you can't get the labelling of benign kitchen equipment correct, this does not instil me with confidence regarding the foods you sell. My daughter has severe allergies and I rely on your information being up to date and accurate..

Product is great . Customer service is shocking

As a product I would recommend it’s purchase. Solid glass mixing bowl. Perfect. Unfortunately it along with two other size bowls was delivered smashed and broken into hundreds of pieces. I emailed Robert Dyas within minutes of it arriving with photos to request either a replacement or a credit but it took over two weeks and numerous emails including me chasing reply’s to previous emails before RD resolved the issue. I now have the replacements and as I say above I’m delighted with them. I’d buy the product again but not sure I’ll be using Robert Dyas.

Pyrex heat proof glass bowl

This is a perfect utensil for making sauces, home made mayonnaise etc. It's just right size for fresh portions for one or two meals. Saves waste, and wondering what to do with left over sauces. It is thick heavy tempered glass, even heat distribution. Even ameture cook like me can produce professional sauces using this essential kitchen tool..

good little bowl

It's a bowl, it's Pyrex! So it 's sturdier than some glass bowls and a good size for anything falling between breakfast bowl and mixing bowl activities. What I liked best was that it came wrapped in recyclable paper wrapping and not bubble wrap, so 5 stars just for that Ocado!
