Pyrex - 3.75 L Round Casserole - Glass

I own an array of Pyrex dishes and trays, and Ive found this casserole dish to be another fantastic addition to my kitchen. I bought it after deciding to expand my cooking skills and make some good comfort food. After skimming through other products offered by companies such as Le Creuset, I quickly realized they were out of my price range. The height is 9cm with the lid off, which increases to with the lid on 12.5cm.One thing that I noticed was this dish has grips under the handle, so youre less likely to drop it while handling it. Additionally, this dish has a wide separation between the handles and the dish itself. The means that you wont struggle to remove the lid with oven gloves on.In regards to cooking, it does a fantastic job. However, obviously the glass does get very hot so some care is needed when taking it out of the oven. This dish did a brilliant job of helping me cook something that Sunday evenings deserve After I had finished it was very easy to clean, and if I dont have time, I find that I can let it soak for a while and itll help get any stuck food off quickly this is not something you can do with an iron pan to my knowledge.I have nothing bad to say about the product, I have found it to be practically flawless. I could clutch at straws and say it accumulates fingerprints quickly, but these will always come off in the wash.Overall, a brilliant casserole dish that will see many uses, and certainly stand the test of time A musthave for any kitchen.

Do not buy this Item arrived in very good packaging. However, once I removed the packaging and washed it I noticed a crack running inside the glass across one of the handles and a much smaller but still noticeable crack on the rim. For something that is supposed to be subjected to higher temperatures and used for food preparation and storage storage foods this is unacceptable, as it will obviously deepen and break of very soon. However, apparently the company does not give refunds and I have an option to return the item. In the middle of the second wave of the pandemic, I decided I am not going to stand in a queue in the post office to return a 13 dish. Glass Casserole Review

When I put my mashed potato into this dish that is pre-made by Woolies, I love this darn little dish - it makes the required quantity of mash extremely easy to measure, being for 1 or 2 people - which depends on my mood.Thank you for making this product. An extreme feeling of happiness resonates throughout my body when I use this product. Yours in glassware. Keep well.

The Pyrex Round Glass Casserole Dish 4.9 L came very well wrapped so it survived without an y damage its long journey from Europe to California. The product is as described so I'm very happy with it.

Pyrex Casserole Dish - Large

Was looking for a replacement for one that I've used for donkeys years, brilliant for pot roasts and stews/casseroles for a crowd or for batch cooking.Plenty of cast iron etc in large sizes but you can't see how your meal is coming along! Only drawback with Pyrex is that you cant start off on hob - but not too much effort to transfer food to casserole dish.

Its been a long time since I bought a new dish. I use one most days in the microwave, so am glad that this fits the bill. Love the easy grip handles. Have noticed that the dish itself holds the heat much longer than my elderly one ever did, too. Could affect your cooking time depending on what the food is. Everything works, so Im pleased

Pyrex brand Pyrex quality

Pyrex-brand quality, large enough to hold my casserole-for-four-hungry-people recipe but it still fits in the microwave for simmering and reheating. I did note that the glass is thinner than my older Pyrex bowls but this makes it light to handle even though it's the largest bowl I own. It arrived promptly after the order was placed, packaged with lots of bubblewrap in a strong cardboard box.

Versatile but fragile

A pyrex casserole can go on the hob, in the oven and in the microwave, and is great for leftovers in the fridge. It’s a very versatile kitchen utensil. However, being glass, it is rather fragile and the lid handles easily get chipped, sometimes leaving sharp edges, which can cause injury. The lids are not available separately; they should be, as this is such a common occurrence. 4* for lack of spare parts.
