The handles aren't big enough to get a good grip of them so it's difficult to remove them from cooker after cooking your food - it's very possible to drop the dish - its also very heavy.
Ive only had this a short time but is become my go to for oven cooking, from slow cooking to roasting meat. The size is perfect for the average oven and large enough to easily feed 6-8 adults. Thoroughly recommended as a staple utensil!

I Love this Pyrex casserole dish with lid.! Big enough for a large roasting joint, it roasts to perfection keeping all the cooking juices in the pan (not all over your oven as well!) and allows browning of the joint as it roasts! I havent tried with a chicken yet, but would assume that a standard 3.5 - 5lb (1.5 - 2.5kg bird would be brilliant as it would keep the bird moist!
I do recommend 100% pyrex. Very good quality glass, the food tastes better, easy to clean and they last for ages of you are careful. I've been looking for a long time for a big rectangular casserole and I am so hapoy that I finally found it. It is very very good.
I am no longer impressed with this product it is very difficult to handle, the grab handles are very slippy they have no molding to grip there is no shape to them. Our dish has been deposited to the garden as a dog bowl.
