Pyrex Bake N' Store Value-Plus Pack

I like that these Pyrex can go in the oven, the microwave and the refrigerator. I use them to store left overs and take it out of the refrigerator and throw straight into the microwave. I make everything from cake to meatloaf in them. This is my second set. They last forever. I also like that they come with their own lids. I love the handles on the biggest one. The price is also great.

Almost perfect

The glass containers were what I would expect of Pyrex quality, they are the right sizes for what I need. The price was better than I hoped for.Things to note: 1) the lids feel like a tupperware knockoff. I am unlikely to use them for anything. I am unwilling to try putting them in the dishwasher. 2) only the largest dish has the handles, the others are normal. 3) the containers were in a sealed plastic but still had black dust on the inside…make sure you wash them thoroughly, not just rinse before use

These pyrex baking dishes arrived very quickly. They were packaged really well to prevent breaking. A friend bought the exact set a year ago and loved the purchase and how sturdy these dishes have been in the oven and how once cooled can be used to store food in the fridge. I highly recommend these pyrex baking dishes.

Beware - dish exploded in oven

I have 2 sets of these baking dishes and have been extremely pleased with them until TODAY! The dish exploded in my oven. It was in the cupboard, so it wasn't from the frig to the oven. It had been cooking for about 25 minutes then I heard a big crash and looked in the oven, the dish is everywhere and my dinner is now ruined. Beware. Pyrex is not supposed to do this, but this is the second time I've had one of their baking dishes explode.

DANGEROUS PRODUCT

Bought this three piece set. Brought home and washed the 9x13 and built a wonderful Green Bean Casserole. All the ingredients except the crackers were precooked and warm. Placed in a 350F oven and within 10 minutes the pan literally exploded.Went to Pyrex website and filed a warranty claim form. Have heard nothing from them.As stated in many other posts, these are extremely dangerous. The shattered glass went into another casserole (one of the smaller ones with the package) and the cleanup was just as dangerous.

Exploding baking dish

The 9 x 13 baking dish exploded almost immediately after pulling from oven after first use. I had just purchased it the day before. It was used for baking a dessert bar recipe, which called for 40 minutes of baking at 350°. I pulled from the oven and set it on my flat stovetop, which was room temperature and had not been on that day. It sat for about ten seconds and as I was stepping away I heard a loud pop/crash and felt something fly all around my legs. Terrifying and infuriating all at the same time. This was Thanksgiving morning. Great way to start the holiday. I’ve used Pyrex dishes for over twenty years and have never experienced anything like this. Not sure I’ll be able to bring myself to purchase this brand again if this is what the quality has come to.

Huge bargain for modern Pyrex set

My Mom’s Pyrex makes me jealous every time I am visiting ( almost a century worth of the super duper vintage Pyrex glass in every size available!) I have one of her lovely 9x13 size baking dishes but after my recent move it cannot be found, I needed a 9x13 dish. Of course I’m gonna buy Pyrex! This 3 dish with covers set is “new” recipe Pyrex glass with brittle, cheap but thick plastic (my first order had broken top lid even though it seemed to be packed well.). I returned my order and a few days later got another set delivered, which was great! These dishes have “easy grip” handles and they deliver, you get a large handle instead of having to grab the lip of the dish. The glass on these is thick and heavy somewhat. Pleasantly surprised!

They are great and were shipped out really fast. I was surprised they weren't broken when I opened the thin plastic bag to find a paper bag was the only thing protecting them. Thank goodness they were shipped separately because they would have for sure broken, being packed that way. (Boughten 2 sets.)Plus, I must have really great delivery people!!

Very brittle plastic lids

I like Pyrex glass baking dishes, but I have plenty, I only wanted these for the lids which the large one was broken when they arrived, just as the other reviewers claimed. Well it mattered to me because that's the only reason I wanted them. Even if the lids came perfect, I have to say they are made of a brittle plastic that would easily break when put to use. I purchased another brand elsewhere and returned these. I gave 3 stars for the quality glass dish and value of the set only.

item bought because of the Pyrex brand name

The items online appeared bigger in size in the picture I was disappointed to see 2 of the 3 glass dishes in the set were so tiny. The item description should have included the size in print But I was happy to receive them not broken. The packaging could of been better. There was no bubble wrap inside and the box and the box was double the size of the item so they could of easily been damaged during delivery. Honestly I don’t know how they weren’t broken. But happy they weren’t. The plastic around the actual dish set had been packaged good. Otherwise they would have never made it through shipping and delivery in one piece
