Really disappointed with this mini dish which I used for the first time today in the oven went to take it out and it broke straight down the middle into 2 halves Waste of money as not that cheap and Ive got the bigger one which I also bought last week thought they were ok for oven use. As probably the most well known in this space Pyrex have been producing a range of dishes suitable for the oven for quite some time. These however, take the whole ease of use one step further being able to snap a lid on and take them for a ride. I took some time to check it out.As youd probably expect from Pyrex, this is a good quality glass dish, somewhat deeper than some of its counterparts but also a good size to be able to feed at least at few people from what you cook. Its safe to go in the oven apart from the plastic lid and cleans easily, including in the dishwasher. Theres an option for a plastic lid to be clipped on, which holds reasonably well though I wouldnt want it knocking around too much in a bag. This is a small pyrex dish with a leakproof pyrex lid that clips on securely, rather like the clipboxes that have become so popular. The best thing is that this will take a lot of use in a microwave less fixed lid whereas the plastic clipboxes tend to distort over time. The same applies to the dishwasher. You can also use the base in a convection oven just as you would any other pyrex dish. It holds 1.1 l and measures 23 x 15 x 6 cm. There are two clips that slide inwards to lock on to the handles on the base. The seal on the lid is silicon and firmly attached with a simple push and the clips for extra security. The upshot is that you can cook with it as well as store food with it in a cupboard, fridge or freezer.

Both arrived with chips missing, dimensions given on website are not true to actual size they are smaller
I have not used it yet but dwith it being pyrex i know it will be as good as it's name

Very useful can heat my food from the freezer in the microwave with no plastic being burned by oil.
Too Expensive and all three are too little
Consistent Pyrex quality - always reliable. Perfect size and depth for lasagne for a couple. Like the lid including venting functionality, but just wish the lid suction secured the lid a bit more and the red sliders clipped in place rather than always smoothly sliding back and forwards. Had hoped it would help to secure the container eg to prepare then take with me for pot luck dinners, etc., But the lid doesn't secure at all by itself - just sits there.
