Productinformatie High performance SATA 6Gbps JBOD expansion unit The JBOD storage enclosure TL-D800S allows you to backup and extend your QNAP NAS, Windows and Ubuntu computers and servers. The TL-D800S features eight 3.5-inch SATA 6 Gb/s drive bays and comes with a QXP PCIe card to connect the enclosure with an SFF-8088 (or SFF-8644) cable. This ensures reliable read and write performance for fluid storage and backup tasks. Lockable disc slots prevent accidental removal of a disc. The SFF-8088 (or SFF-8644) connection cable supports four SATA 6 Gb/s channels per cable (24 Gb/s in total) and provides faster data transfer times than eSATA and USB. Easy to use. QNAP NAS and PCs can both use utilities to monitor, retrieve and manage JBOD information. High performance TL SATA JBOD The TL SATA JBOD supports multi-lane SATA 6 Gb/s transfers, and each SATA lane is directly connected to a single SATA drive to help improve performance. With the 1-1 high-speed channel, the TL SATA JBOD delivers excellent transfer performance. The TL-D800S offers software-controlled storage configuration for greater management flexibility. You can configure RAID and monitor the JBOD enclosure and disk health with Storage & Snapshots when connected to a QTS or QuTS hero NAS, or with the QNAP JBOD Manager utility when connected to a computer.
